I think this thread is a great idea! I was actually thinking of making one, but I didn't know how well it would go down... anyways, is it like social problems that we're facing? I came up with the idea when Insanity had her washing machine problem :S I thought if we start a big thread, then no more side threads... Anywho- good luck and are you looking for any helpers? |

From other people's experiences.. I would say going and chatting directly to people in chat or IM e.g. if you wanna learn english then talk more to Mokona :3 Well, it helps you learn how to speak normally and casually to people and you can practise too! Sorry Tem, I couldn't help myself xP !! |

@Mokona its okaii @schwarz i suggest that you try buying a DVD or a book. Personally it has worked for me it depends on how you learn. If you learn better listening you could try a CD or Cassette. Likewise if you learn better by reading try a book. P.S. I give advice on anything |

ok. here's my problem. every time I wanna go outside, my grandma is liek angry as she don't wanna get me back at our house. i'm always cuddling her, but she's always pissing me off. and she talks and talks bad at my friends like i wanna cut her tongue off. just because my celfone is lost and she is pointing and always talking about them. and she wanna take me away from my friends just because she always thinks bad at them which is definitely not. so, how can I stop her from pissing me off and how can I stop her from talking and talking bad? |

Hmm, I think it's a common problem for some of us- our parents and carers are always naturally protective, but they just don't seem to understand us- (so this thread is really cool :D ) -_- My mum thinks I'm going out with someone and I keep telling her that it's not the case, but she gave me a huge lecture anyways- woops, sorry for going off topic, but I will just say that your Grandma is over-protective, you seem to have tried talking to her, so I would avoid getting pissed off directly at her and explain to her slowly about things... parents always think friends are bad influences lol- but you have to try and avoid acting really annoyed- or you're just proving that you get angry easily (and in turn they think it's because of your friends)- you just wanna prove you're a decent kid and so are your friends, so, just avoid as much as possible going out and do nice things to your grandma and spend time with her :) Gahh, I lost my phone too, but i admit it was my fault :P |

@Ken Well if it were me i would sit down and talk to her. It never hurts to say the truth. Im sure that she'll understand and calm it down a bit. @Mokona4 Actually i had this problem too and what i did was tell my mom that i need freedom. You should sit down with your parents and talk to them. Tell them the truth and WHY you deserve to have freedom. Also being to over protective can also cause harm to kids Here are some links you can visit with reasons you can bring up to your parents Overprotective Parents Overprotective Parents 2 |

lol this is cute /patpat Tem, for making this thread Incidentally, I don't need any advice... Well, maybe ONE thing How to get a girl to slow down without hurting her and without making her say, "You're wasting my time; I'm leaving you"? I'm not ready for marriage... I'm only 19. |

@dood Well first you should tell her the truth. BE HONEST. And if she decides to leave you then she really doesn't love you. If she does love you she would wait for you. |

@Choco What i do is if i ever have a favorite dream i try to continue from where i left of. If all else fails you should call your doctor and explain what is happening. He might give you sleeping pills to help you sleep. |

@Alivistir You should start with small things first. Like not exactly jumping into it. Start off by saying hi and work from there... |

What do I do if I'm attacked by a bear?
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

@Haoie If a bear attacks, fall to the ground and play dead. The bear will think you are dead and you are no longer a threat. Heres a site with more tips- Bear Attack |

xD Are you serious Haoie? Umm, i really dunno. But i heard like what Tem said, just play dead lol. @Choco: heya Choco! Well, i would suggest not concentrating too much on this. This happens to me at times as well, but it's usually fine after a while. Reading doesn't help me much either. I would try just lying down comfortably, close your eyes and not think too much about anything, it may take a while, but don't get frustrated and just relax. Can i ask if this is a persisting problem? |
