Anyways, I decided to create this thread in order to talk about anything regarding about the game of Dota, including inhouses, teaching how to play, how captains mode may work and what to ban and choose, etc... Lol, Xero, Welcome to the club haha, though you MUST leave Garena!!! I know I said it as a server...but i dunno...Garena leaves a bad taste in the mouth lolz :D Garena = better then bnet...but at the same time like 1 billion levels below bnet lolz |

well it's the only server we have... my warcraft 3 is just a cracked version... so it doesn't support bnet... im trying to find a genuine warcraft 3 installer here buit chances of that is highly unlikely... but I still hope against hope... |

Hahaha, I see, well...hmmmm...I'm planning to also create some sort of ranking system as well, you know, like based upon how well each person plays. I guess it would be created by using observers in a game since the player ability is not ranked by their K/D/A ratio, but their ability overall during early/mid/end game. Then again, if the people turn out to be better than me...I guess I would just have to get someone better than me to judge hahaha. Out of a scale from 1-10, i'd probably rate my own skill about a 6 lolz |

Well, I guess since most of you have Garena, i guess most of the games will be played there lolz. anyways, i'll add you two as friends on Garena and we'll play some games maybe. |

This still goes under Games. I'll move this after someone replies so no one gets lost. Anyway, I don't play Garena much anymore, nor do I play b.net, but I have to warm up for my trip overseas. :) IGN: riceboks (b.net), risuPH (PH)/ riceboks (US) / ...and one I have registered in SG... Server: Garena (PH servers when in PH, US servers in US), b.net Lordaeron Experience: Years...but I'm no pro. I guess I'm decent, but it always depends on the team. I don't have clan experience either. I'm more the support type, but consider myself an all-rounder. But don't ask me to do Pudge, Meepo or Chen; I can't hook well or micro. :( Fav. Char: Windrunner. ;D People underestimate shackle-shot and sniping with Power Shot is always funny. Lion too because I like to disable a LOT. :)    |

@Riceboks - I created this dota league to be sort of like a club in the sorts of that its just like a gathering. You can probably placed it in the games section, but I placed it here because it was basically a club such as the Yugioh club(Game club?). but anyways, yea... welcome? :]...and geez riceboks, its been hella days since i've last seen you on like...ever >>...even if I haven't been lurking gendou for a long time. |

Well that makes four people in this club... well the only problems I'm going to encounter when giving advice here is my unorthodox builds in both Items and skill.. ^_^ @Ricebooks: welcome to the club.. I hope we can play a game before you go overseas @PHS: welcome. don't hesitate to ask about anything... I pretty much have memorized the recipes, heroes and Items in game both old and new. |

@Xero : Lolz, unorthodox builds are usually ok if they have a reason behind them when creating it. like...now that there are tons of new items, we can make new builds and the such...and there are also new ways of creating items as well. Now that we have 4 people, we can do 2v2 inhouses, but thats still no fun :], wait for one for and we can start 5v5 pubbies! until then, would be nice to meet any of you on Garena or battlenet so we can play together! |

Yeah, that would be fun... Btw, the only problem that I'd got was I'd always get caught into something when I'd was busy... Any ideas to overcome? |

Lolol, haha, I didn't even know it was you! You still live in the South Bay? Anyway, I guess you're right. I won't move this unless needed otherwise. Anyone going to be playing any time soon? I just want to test out the new items on real people. :P I'm liking the force rod thing that pushes units back and I personally think things need to be more balanced (like bat rider). I'll be logged into Garena all day (risuPH), so add me up! I also only use YM (Yahoo Messenger) these days, and the user name should be obvious. :P See ya guys around! Lolz, Ricey, I still live nearby you sort of! :D Fremont FTL hahahah!!! Anyways, i'll permanently have Garena on even though I usually don't play on it most of the time when you guys are on so we can get a game going. Elsewise, you can MSN or AIM me AIM : Ect168 MSN : Mrtakeiteasy@hotmail.com @Edit Batrider is already pretty balanced on his own. His slow is an area affect that lasts for 10 seconds, it works like bristlebacks slow in the matter of fact except it increases the damage of fire. His flying move is sort of like a slow moving blink except it leaves a trail of damage behind. His ultimate is like Rhastas shackle with the ability to move. Tauren, however, might need to be nerfed a little... lolz, |

Batrider is not balanced... his flying skill let's hiim move anywhere in the map... bad news for heroes with no blink... not to mention firefly + shiva's guard + vanguard = unkillable batrider as for tauren... his stun might get nerfed... but as long as his 3rd skill isn't touched them im not gonna complain... that's the only thing that's his only hero power at the moment |

lol, thought you might've moved there TIE, or something. :P I won't have much time left, but we have to play sometime over the weekend? If just for fun too.. I can't say I'll be really free, but I really really want to play with people I know. :( RE: Batrider Yeah, only complaint is the no-collision movement.. great for escapes though. Actually, I can imagine batrider with the force rod thing pushing someone away, then flying over a cliff. :D But I'll be damned at how slow he is. Just needs a lil tweaking imo..even with it's ult..mostly cuz of how SLOW he is. x_X Thoughts? I'm only going from my single-player playthrough, so sorry for the lack of real depth. :P |

I'm still looking for an version switcher and a 1.23 version... and I was really looking forward to playing with you @ricebooks: actually it's the other way around... I've seen batriders with force staffs use it to push themselves out of harms way... i.e face an impassable terrain then force themselves while in firefly instant escape. @Soo: welcome good to have you abord @Z: whoa.. didn't notice your post there earlier... welcome to the club... with that that makes 6 people and we can now play 3 v 3 yay ^_^ |

Really? I never thought of that haha. Also, even if you have a cracked version, you could download the manual patch from the Blizzard website. |
