Funny Anime's

I was wondering if someone could point me towards the names of some funny anime's? Stuff along the lines of "Azu Manga Daioh" and "Lucky Star", full of short random moments with no real story XD. I'm not one for anime's with mechs, mystical powers (Haruhi Suzumiya and Full Metal Alchemist being my only exceptions :D), or anything like that. I just need a good laugh. First post since I signed up. Hope I did this right :D |

Thanks all for the quick replies, keep 'em coming! I just finished Lucky Star today and started it yesterday. It was awesome :D But now I'm bored again... Btw, Crayon Shin-Chan is a little too... crude... for me :P Hope other people are benefiting from this thread too :D |

When you think of Azumanga, i'd also say Sensei no Ojikan and Pani Poni Dash. And Muteki Kanban Musume, but that was already named here as Ramen Fighter Miki. |

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi would be the one for u. Its very funny has no special mystical powers , just bare hands martial arts fighting and the other fact is that guy kenichi is a very lovable charector. the anime has around 50 episodes, but the manga is still going on righ now over 300 chapters!!!! i Would recommend this to all anime fans, the other comedy anime that i love is doctor Dokkiri but it is only avulable in vhs, not digitised, since its almost 3 decades old an then... i cant recall any good one , but ill post em if i remember!!

Hello there moinker10 Well, as for me: 1)Seto no Hanayome (An anime about mermaid, yakuza and school life but not much mystical) 2)School Rumble series (As the name implies, it is about school life but very unique) 3)Hayate no Gotoku (About butler and a great comedy...) 4)Katekyou Hitman Reborn (Well, about mafia but strangely it is funny...)    |

K-on should be good for you. Then cromartie high school for even more randomness. Excel saga, hare nochi guu, and seto no hanayome for over the top random stuffs. |

I finished K-On not too long ago, and it's AWESOME! Idk if it's classified as "funny", but it's really good. I'm still pretty new to the whole anime world, so I don't know what genre you'd give it, but if anyone knows stuff like it, I'd greatly appreciate the help. Thanks again all for the replies! Hope I'm not being looked at as a leech or something for asking for all of this... |

Oh, i completely forgot: there's also Galaxy Angel. Although i think only the second season is worthy. Episodes with combining robot and the episode about Volcott are the best :) |
