In your opinion which games(any genre) has the best storyline?

Got to be Pong.

Can't any more epic than that.

If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

I would have to say Tales of Symphonia. You think you know what's going to happen then BAM! They hit you with something you totally weren't expecting. And they do that about 5 or 6 times during the story, lol.

Chrono Cross, Tales of The Abyss, and Final Fantasy IX.

All three are epic, expecially Chrono Cross and
Tales of The Abyss. Both games have alot of twists
and turns, as does FFIX, and Abyss has TONS of
character development. All three are amazing --
pick them up if you don't already have them.

The games that I think have the best storyline are Pokemon and Valkyrie Profile.

Pokemon because, the games are never ending, and you can battle people around the world by connecting to Wi-Fi, and I think that is amazing. Also, you can keep playing until you unlock new adventures, and locations as well as new pokemon. Wanna know what else I think is amazing about the pokemon games? Well it's mostly because, through out the years, Pokemon games have always remained the same, Even while the new pokemon are being created as we speak. Also, the regions that you explore can almost seem as if you are exploring Japan itself! ^^ and I think that is amazing as well! ^^

Valkyrie Profile because the storyline is super-actiony and the graphics are awesome! and plus, there's alot of questions answered in the game.

Well, all the Regions in Pokemon are based on actual
areas in Japan, after all.

In truth though, I don't think Pokemon has that great a Storyline.

You do the same in each game, and the story is always similiar.
They don't dive real deep like they could ( because of the
obvious age-group they direct at ) but they really could
make an epic Pokemon Storyline if they wanted.

Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE the games. Just when I think
a great STORYLINE, I think something with depth, twists,
turns, great characters and an even greater plot that
really sticks with you well past the hours of playing the game.

Hehe, just an opinion ~ ^_^;

Valkyrie profile Silmeria...
the best game I´ve ever played, the storyline is interesting and very beautiful, Great Game!

Other games with good storyline can be. ......mmmm......>.<.....Tales of the Abyss,a good game with a great story; Odin Sphere, one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen, and the story is addictive muajajajaja; Fatal frame 2 (love this game, is awesome); Hack G.U. i think this one is very repetitive, but the story makes you want to know more about it.

Persona 4 for its pretty hardcore detective case,
It really kicked me in the ass when i got to the true ending
Another would be Tales of the Abyss, its just too awesome.

Tales of the Abyss had the best storyline, with great development and twists, along with probably the most intricate character development I've ever seen. All the main characters and all the villains are developed amazingly well. I've played it twice through and it was just as enjoyable the second time.

Another one I'd have to say is good is Final Fantasy X. Because... Well it is final fantasy, and it's the only one I finished, and I rather enjoyed it.

The last one is Radiata stories. Though the battle music is lackluster, and it's a lot more cheery than the storyline itself suggests, i found the two paths and the way the stories developed Jack (the main character), quite satisfying. Though I must say, I enjoyed the non-human path better. It just seems to fit Jack's personality better than the Human path did, even though he is human. Weird, I know.

Everyone has more than one face.
