K-ON is arguably the most popular anime to recently air.
I recommend it if you're a big Kyoto Animation fan (I love all their anime).
Actually I recommend it to anyone who's open minded, but K-ON will not disappoint, just try it out.

To-Love Ru was really good, a bit more like your average comedy these days but I enjoyed it.
Though near the last few episodes, it started to lack goodness and I hated how it ended.
There's also three OVAs (recently released the third), but if you have some free time, yeah you can check it out.

The D.C. series is awesome. D.C.S.S., personally, is the best out of the four (D.C., D.C.S.S., D.C. II, D.C. II S.S. - in order).
I'd watch every season (in order) cause it's pretty good. D.C. II and D.C. II S.S. were lacking, but half as long as D.C. and D.C.S.S.

D.C. and D.C.S.S. are from different times than D.C. II and D.C. II S.S. but characters from the later D.C. II closely resemble those from the original D.C.

That takes care of 3, 8, and 9. That's all I've seen from this list anyways.

For me, I will choose Kuroshitsuji.
Cool characters, amazing story plot.
A very good anime

I prefer alot of anime.
I choose not to say all. I'll say Azumanga Daioh.

I only saw K-ON and Hayate. well they kind of don't land on the same genre.
well I fell like watching slice of/school life I'd watch K-ON.
but if I fell like watching romance comedy I'd watch hayate.

I haven't seen D. gray-man but I got a feeling that its something like fullmetal alchemist which more of an adventure fantasy type anime with hero and villain or misguided characters.

I cannot really put one over the other.

For me, my favourite would have to be D.Gray-man. I love the character art and intense storylines. And of course, it's one of the few true animes to feature openly homosexual characters. Most animes either shrink away from such topics, or turn it into a joke or porn. But D.Gray-man really gets to grips with these issues. As a gay rights activist, I feel we need more things like this in mainstream media to end oppression of homosexuals, as well as other minorities. Fight on my, brothers!

yeh thats right

hayate no gotoku and skip beat are pretty good but skip beat ended off abruptly. k-on is too short short the end i just felt disappointed. D Grayman on the other hand is too long with over 100 episodes and ended without much of a conclusion, but its relatively good even though the manga is better. If you enjoy d grayman you'd probably enjoy kuroshitsuji too...

i would say D. Gray man. and skip beat.

the stories are not rushed. except maybe the last arc for skip beat. but u can see the story fold up slowly

skip beat is a mix of comedy and romance.i would recomment this. and if you're patient enough to watch anime series with lengthy episodes, try d.gray-man.it's really worth the money.i hope the second season of both anime series comes out soon.

Guess hayate no gotoku for me. Kuroshitsuji was nice, but a bit too tragic.

Hmm.. I have watched Kuroshijutsi, K-on, D grayman, Hayate no Gotoku and Skip Beat.

These are all anime of different genres. Watch
Kuroshijutsi - If you like mystery-solving and bishonen
K-on - If you want something short, relaxing yet inspiring
D. grayman - (This is a long series...) If you really enjoyed fighting scenes and have a lot of time
Hayate no Gotoku - If you just want something that doesn't make any sense but hillarious
Skip Beat - If you want to watch some love comedy and impressive acting skill
