What's the appropriate age to consider marriage?

I hope this is the right place for my thread* I really want to know what you guys think after asking 20 adults what would be the appropriate age be to consider marriage, 15 of them replied telling me 30 years old is appropriate because most likely you'll have your life all sorted out. So please tell me what you guys think |

I don't think there is a certain age, it all comes down to when you feel that (both of) you are ready for it. As far as my opinion goes, if you have given it a lot of thought, you have the means to make it work (mostly in terms of financial situation) and your over the legal age of course then I see no problem with any age. The thing is, marriage isn't something you should rush. I can't really see a reason to rush it actually. Being married would be a great feeling and all, but it's not like there are huge benefits to it that don't relate to your love. Personally, I'd like to be married (or at least engaged) at 25. Not something I'd be pushing for of course, but that (to me) seems like a good age.    |

For me personally, I'd prefer 28-30 if things go on track, which most likely not, lol.

I'd say 24 to 25. There was this saying marriage after 25 is considered too old...but it all depends on the couple I guess. |

Hmm, I agree if someone said 30++, since they're understand the world maturely... And also, if they felt that they brave or ready enough to get married, theres nothing to be worried about...  |

well, 24 would be good. being preggy at that age gets less chances having a certain kind of cancer. :)

I will say that i don't know, but the Vatican (catholic) said that we can marry someone when the guy is 20 and the girl is 18 (well, my teacher said so)... and i once read something and there's an article said that younger marriage means the probability to get the child healthy is better.. in another words younger marriage means healthier kids.  |

well age doesnt really matter but most of the time the groom is older than the bride if i remember right 5 yrs ago i read an article or an survey that most of the men that are getting married are almost in there 30's or older than, and the girl age is in 24-30. but i prefer the younger the better and most importatly a good financial budget, getting married means more expenses  |

it doesn't really matter...as long as both are ready, though i personally believe around 25-30 is appropriate.  |

I say in the 20's but i agree with those around 25 just in case they're not ready this also includes if both partners want to have a child

i wouldnt say theres a "REAL" age. any age over the age of consent (which varies in different countries) seems reasonable to me. im 21 and im getting married in a few months so it comes down to the people
