Plot Summary: The series, which is also called HekiyÅ Gakuen Seito-kaigi Jiroku (The Records of the HekiyÅ Academy Student Council’s Activities), revolves around a private high school whose student council is chosen entirely by popularity vote. Because of this, Ken Sugisaki is the only male representative, in the otherwise all bishÅjo student council, that may enter the “sacred sanctuary†of the council’s meeting room. At the behest of Council President Kurimu Sakurano (pictured at right), Sugisaki records the minutes of the council meetings, which devolve into daily conversations about the students’ lives and interests. — To alot of people, this new anime is not looking good. Their reasoning is of course about the setting being mostly a single room, characters seeming too much like so many others, etc. HOWEVER, I reeeeeally like the way th first episode went for this series. It started off the first few minutes, shattering the fourth-wall and even dissing the Dragonball Evolution movie during that span. I couldn't stop laughing, and the whole episode was rather entertaining. While shounen fans and such may not find this appealing and others believe it's a lost cause, I think Seitokai no Ichizon has alot of potential. I can't wait for my internet to come back up so I can watch episode 2!! :D |

The series caught my eye cause of the character designs were originally done by Kira Inugami who is more commonly known for her works on the company Makura Soft....the guys who made H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~. The buildup is a little slow & the premise of it taking place in a student council room seems interesting enough. There were some funny moments & 'fourth wall' breaking which is always a nice touch. Still being only 13 episodes may be too short or too long depending on your point of view. |

I would have to say 13 episodes seems about right. For an anime like this with ( to me ) no known `central plot`, 13 episodes gives them time to throw in some interesting stories and keep fans wanting more, without overdoing it. Also, Sugisaki's constant eroge fantisies and game-playing make for some really funny moments, as I can't remember a character that came out playing eroge's so obviously. Pretty funny stuff to give some unique-ness to them all. |

Lol, it's really funny Reen. Also, watched episode 2 last night after my internet came back. Pretty good stuff, and it was hilarious when they made Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note spoofs ( Chizuru throwing an apple up to a shinigami, LOL ). I think an anime being done like this is a pretty good thing. Almost reminds me of Aria with how each episode is a new journey and all, so it's enjoyable! ~ |

The FMA thing was when they were going over the student request forms, and it was asked; " MUST YOU GIVE SOMETHING TO GAIN SOMETHING OF EQUAL VALUE?! " Or something like that, and the President acted like her right arm was made of automail and she was preforming a transmutation with it, xD! |

an interesting and funny anime indeed. the president really reminds me of akira from lucky star. just that she spends more time being cute than being psycho girl. I really liked that part when Sugisaki was trying to drag out "still can't remember her name" form that secret room after seeing her in a wedding mini gown. |

Haha this Sugisaki is like me in a way. Not that embarrassed to show & admit his let's say 'sexual prowness', though i get the impression he's a genuinely good guy despite this. Evidence in his actions at the end of episode 1. All these cultural references & parodies of other anime & genres is absolutely brilliant, that & it is extremely hilarious. The whole 'copyright' thingy with The Meloncholy of Haruhi was priceless!! The Deathnote reference in episode 2, the Dragonball Evolution (quote "That was so bad, don't even mention it!"), also its not afraid to make fun of itself as well. Little Red is adorable as heck...so dangerously MOE!!! Even though there really isn't a 'real' story as of yet i'm highly enjoying it for the laughs & spotting the references in every episode! |

Episode 3 was really good; and I like how the story expanded beyond the one room and actually got around the school a little bit. I also liked having the new character introduced, and the way Sugisaki interacted with her, xD! Sadly, all of the anime/manga-references in this one were from ones I didn't know, so I didn't get them; but still, epically hilarious all around ~ |

Episode 3 didn't have as much anime references as other episodes. One was pretty obvious with Ai Enma making a cameo appearance. The scene with the red moon i found familiar though unsure if it was for Rosario + Vampire or something else entirely. What i liked about this episode is even with the fact that Sugisaki is a perverted minded fellow he is really genuine & honest. I also liked his interactions with Lilicia. She i really found adorable, & i see that even if she denies it she really wanted to be apart of the student council. The way she absolutely fears Chiziru was really funny....& those interview scenes with the other members were also hilites of the episode. |

Lol, I never caught onto the ones in Episode 3, but it was really good either way! And yeah, it's obvious Lilicia wanted to be apart of the council. But it seems she is a really kind person at heart with the way she acted in the end; I like her! And WOOOOOW. I don't know why, but Episode 4 subs took nearly 4 days! Longest I've even seen it take, but at least it came out today. Awesome episode with everyone trying to figure out ways to outdo the Journalism club, starting with a Novel that each member tried to make in their own way! The funniest version had to be when Mafuyu had Ken write the part about him being in a 'relationship' with other guys, which just made me LOL! And Chizuru's about Ken being her love slave was just as funny if not better, haha! All in all, the novel ideas were pure gold and hilarious. :D Next they tried anime, a K-On reference for a band, and just had alot of funny moments all throughout. A great episode, showing the series can be a great one even if it takes place mostly in the one room and all. ^_^ |

Episode 5 is your typical swimsuit episode & it has its hilites. All the gals look cute in their swimwear...Chizuru is pretty busty! The mask that Sugisaki wears so he can't look at the gals was funny! 'Little Red' has this one scene near the end that is so adorable, she uses a water pistol on Sugisaki & the way she was animated was the cutest ever. A nice moment also occurs when Sugisaki finally busts out of his prison & meets a mystery gal. It turns out she is actually Minatsu with her hair down, she plays the tsundere role pretty well, she was cute in that scene. As for references to other animes i didn't really notice many except maybe for the scenes with Chizuru & Little Red having some yuri moments that look similar to Maria-sama ga Miteru. |

i also think it has a lot of potential, even though it is shown in a single room, right now i have seen episode 5, to me its is a funny anime, i hope this series makes up all they way to episode 24, but most likely, it will end with 12 or 13 episods |

Episode one was okay, but portrayed as a rare comedic harem. I loved it when they parodied Lucky Star's OP and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu!! Gonna follow this series though, since I'm taking a break from games, so hopefully this is just a domino effect on many more anime to follow that I've already dLed. >XD ------- |

Like it's shown by my posts here, Seitokai is a pretty funny and great show, DA. The comedy is great, just for the moments where they parody other anime or even make fun of their own show and manga! Not to mention the natural atmosphere that allows for some epically funny moments, whether they parody or not. And power rangers/super sentai in episode 6 was just LOL. Which bring me to discuss 6, and slightly episode 5, since it seems the direction of the story is having ken end up with a certain girl now. He's had the most ' serious ' talks with her, and she also appears to be falling in-love with him by the end of 6. This girl? Wonderful Minatsu, who was the least likely girl I thought Ken would end up with; if he ended up with one girl, that is. |

like quite a few anime i'm following currently as a side effect of my brother following them, i'm keeping track because it's hilarious. that, and the million billion anime references. and hey, the latest episode actually has them going to tokyo instead of staying in the room. =P |

I've only seen like the first twp episodes, which surprised me last night watching episode two. I thought I saw more of it, but I was thinking of another title (that I like better). It's a weird, comedic harem, but maybe they'll be some love later in the series. Who knows, honestly, I don't expect to LOVE this by the end of the season, so I'm hoping it proves me wrong. ------- |
