Storyline eh...Tales of Vesperia to me, because it has an interesting character development. I can see many character changes throughout the story. Also, Tales of Graces. Even though i don't understand THAT much, but the story is interesting.  |

I would love to say tales of eternia because I loved it so much, but I think the storyline regarding Tales of Symphonia was my favorite storyline wise.  |

I'd have to say Tales of Symphonia, 'cause alot of development and plot twists occur that wouldn't have happened in earlier games.  |

Abyss, no doubt. The character development is some of the most I've seen in any show/anime/game/story/anything ever, by far. Not to mention the twists and turns throughout the story that really surprise the heck out of you. Then again, Abyss is really the only tales game I've played, hehe.. |

LAWL, ToD (Tales of Destiny) for me. =3 Why? One :: I found the battle system fun (and occasionally annoying). Two :: There was a rather interesting plot behind it. Three :: Main character (Stahn) is epic idiotic/funny. Four :: I liek the Swordians. XP Five :: ...Besides ToD2 (the sequel to ToD1, not the other one, lol), it's the only Tales of... game I've played. XP Though... @Shuyin :: I agree, Abyss has great character development. =3

For ME My Best Tales Is "TALES OF DESTINY" I Like The Story Line goes Its Has Some Twist Stahn ROFL hes a farm boy that ddnt know WTH just Happened to his Life first hitch Hiking In the Draco Then He Just Became a Hero haha Just like that I havent Played the Sequel Coz I cant Understand English FONTS & Language Next Is "Tales Of The Abbys" Its Just That I Like The Heroine, Tear is still Hot up until now And "Tales OF Symphonia 1&2" They Have Cool Moves i Like the way Llyods Sword Technique Well The Last Is "Tales OF Eternia" In English Version Its Named Tales of Destiny2 and that time when i was playing eternia for the 1st time i got confused w/ the story im was wonderin where could stahn appear.... For Me ALL of the "Tales of" Sereies Are The Best RPG for me They all have -Air Ship Transport -Twist -2 part boss fight & they all have Traitors In the story hahaha - And It feels kinda nostalgic when im playing "Tales of" Series |

the best tales series i think is best is "Tales of symphonia" only because i think it has a really good plot to the story and it's in depth for me

| The best storyline? Hard to say. Abyss is my favorite. Vesperia next, and really the only thing I can find fault with Vesperia is... "It's not Abyss". <_<; |

.. LOL Sera. " It's not Abyss ", that made me LOL. No doubt to me Abyss has an amazing story and is overall just a great gaming experience. I need to find a way to both find and acquire some Tales games I don't have. Specifically any on the PS2, besides Abyss, as I don't have a Gamecube to get those Tales games. Any on the DS or PSP would work as well, since I have those two systems. No 360 though to go and play Vesperia on .. RAGE. D: .. |

Well, I got into the series playing Symphonia, but I have to hand it to Tales of the Abyss, that is definitely, the game with the best storyline. MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS There was so much change in the characters, all of them. Especially the ones in the player's party. Luke had gone from a spoiled brat to someone everyone looked up to, even if that meant destroying a city, killing thousands, and eventually sacrificing his own life. near the end, he found out what it meant to be a alive, even though he learned that he shouldn't even be alive, that he didn't even deserve it. Now onto the ending. The ending gave me chills it was so good. Luke stayed behind to prevent Eldrant, the replica Hod from destroying their world. No one wanted him to stay, but he had to, it was his mission. Years passed and Luke, as he promised, had not shown up again. Luke's friends went to Tataroo Valley to see if he'd show up, on the day he promised he would. Everyone but Tear and Guy began to leave, seeing as he wouldn't come back. But there he was, a stranger with long red hair walking towards them. He had come back on the day he had promised. That's way Tales of the Abyss is the Tales of game with the best storyline. Just typing this gave me the chills XD

Should change that MAY CONTAIN to CERTAINLY DOES CONTAIN, rofl. Anyway, you're completely right. The ending is one of the best to ever grace a game or anime, and still gives me chills when I watch it in the anime or after beating the game. Another great thing is the mystery around the ending. Even though, I like to think it is Luke. |

I can't really say much since the only Tales of games that I have finished are Eternia, Radiant Mythology 1 and 2, and VS. I somehow want to say Abyss and Vesperia. The truth about Luke was shocking for me. I'm only basing what I say from the lines I heard during boss battles in the videos I watch and Aselia wiki info. The relations of the characters and the conflicts they went through were truly dramatic. In Vesperia, a lot of drama with a splash of good humor. It was sad hearing the lines during boss battles but the humor among the primary characters is lifts the spirit up. I really would like to see how the characters would react in the PS3 version since there are additions of characters. |

hmmm... tales of the abyss~ i just love the storyline&characters.. especially asch... ^^- =)) X)) next is tales of eternia... i just feel like playing it.. just for fun.. ;)) i guess last is RadiantMyth 1. Haven't played RadiantMyth 2 yet.. hoping for the US version. -w-

Tales of Hearts. The amount of character development in that game is heartwarming. Plus the multiple relationships that go on can go on to be hilarious yet refreshing. |

Tales of Vesperia, Failed on character development. Success on battle speed. Why there is Flynn in your X360 disc cover ? Is he really one of the main character ? Seems to be an excuses for having the same design as Guy Cecil. Tales of Abyss, Perfect. Story + Sub-quest will allow the player to develop better knowledge about Abyss World. Each country deal with their own culture. Perfect at almost everything. |

Tales of the Abyss, of course!!The storyline has a smooth flow with some unexpected twist.Moreover, the protagonist, Luke, undergoes a huge change of character during the adventure.This is what made me surprised because most of the time the hero is always flawless.I like the plot and the characters, including the Six God Generals.Another reason I love this game is due to the opening song, 'Karma', which is so synchronized with the story.  |

I think it would be Abyss. That's all. >.< Although I've only played: Mainstream: Tales of Eternia Tales of Phantasia Tales of Abyss Tales of Vesperia Spin off: Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 1 - 3 Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 1 and 2 Tales of VS -So I'm not totally sure.
