Well, I searched the forum and I didn't see any thread on her, so yeah. Nana Mizuki (水樹 奈々) is a popular Japanese singer–songwriter and voice actress. She debuted as a seiyuu in 1998, released her first single in 2000. She is affiliated with King Records and is the only seiyuu whose album (Ultimate Diamond) reached #1 in Oricon Weekly Charts. Just recently, she has been invited to one of the biggest annual japanese music shows: Kohaku Ua Gassen. Her new Single Phantom Minds topped the Oricon Weekly charts. She has many different voice roles, probably more well known for voicing Fate (Nanoha), Utau (Shugo Chara) and Moka (Rosario+Vampire). You can find many of her songs here on gendou but here are some PVs: |

I for one am a HUGE fan of Mizuki Nana, I love her as an idol, too. Do I dare say, I might love her more than Hirano Aya, who I adore ever so much? >3<;; Similar to Hirano Aya though, she started her career in her mid-teens which is still impressive, and unlike other mainstream stars who only get attraction because of a certain issue, Mizuki Nana is vocaly talented, gorgeous as well as super cute (a bit moe?), just plain perfect and she should marry me! Her voice is just so unique as in she uses so many difference styles and variations in her songs. If you've seen her roles in anime as an accomplished seiyu, yeah it's easy to see why she sings in many voices. She can reach high notes and transfer into lower ones so smoothly and sexually, it's such a turn on. Damn, I love her face. There's one song on an album I have such a hard time finding. It was released when she was like 18, before her debut Supersonic Girl: She had such a good voice at such a young age, but she's still remotely in her early teens and still going. She's the first seiyu to also have a number one album rank on Oricon, which is pretty impressive, and I think she's more recognizable being a seiyu than the legendary goddess, Hayashibara Megumi, who I also love. This one I just go fangirl for, god, she stabs me in my heart: Not only in this video is awesomeness, but she gives some of the sexiest and cutest facial expressions EVER. She's like some angel above controlling the crowd of Japanaese otakus below her. But yeah, I'm trying to find her first album before Supersonic Girl, it's so hard. The only way is buying it off Amazon.com.jp or something like that. ------- |

I think she has the best voice among all the seiyuus. Have to admit that most of her songs rock, though I do prefer those songs that sang with deeper voice/lower notes. Mirai Travel, ftw. Those songs she recently sang for White Album are pretty cool too. Shortly, Nana Mizuki rocks. |

^^ I agree she is one of the best indeed.. But I have only heard her as Utau in anime.. So its disadvantage is that whenever I heard Nana, i thought it was Utau.. Even though, she's still Nana Mizuki and I love all her songs!! |

Nana Mizuki also played Fate in Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha alongside another popular seiyuu, Yukari Tamara. Mizuki-san also sang the opening songs for the Nanoha series, with Tamara-san singing the ending songs. If you listen to her singing voice, she doesn't really sound like the characters she plays, but she is still great! :D

My favs r Eternal Blaze & Dancing In The Velvet Moon. She's really 1 of de best out there. Notice that she played a very small role in Kampfer; as the white electrocuted Lynx stuff doll, one of the messengers. |

Yeah she did, too bad Kampfer was poorly produced. Nice they had an episode to themselves though. ------- |

Nana Mizuki is so cool! Her voice is so nice, and when she's acting as Utau, her voice is really calm and cool. She sings so well, too! |

The new MGS game on the PSP features Nana Mizuki-san portraying one of the characters named Paz. Kojima-san being the quirky dude he is created this interesting music video of Paz's theme song sung by Mizuki-san. The song is called "Deterrence of Love" & the single will be released April 7th, 2010. Remember this is a PSP game, looks pretty good if you ask me & the song is quite addictive. Mizuki-san did a wonderful job on the song, her bubbliness really shines. What would make this video so much cooler is if Snake & the soldiers were dancing behind her during that sequence (around 2:03). |

Nana Mizuki's latest full album just came out, not sure if you guys already got a chance to hear it yet. It's titled IMPACT EXCITER, with a couple of previously released singles (EG: Mugen, Phantom Minds, Don't Be Long) & a couple of new songs (Mysterion, 7th July etc). In fact i just got it and i must say it's really good. The only downside is that Mysterion is too messy and tiring for my ears. I prefer like a cuter rock her, not a weird-overlyrock-crazy her. Still, the other songs & singles are so nice i can't stop listening. Nana FTW, can you believe she's alr 30. Zomg, she feels like she's only 20!

I really like the songs she did for Shugo Chara. Heartful Song is one of my faves though. I think it's really amazing how many diffrent types of characters she can play. |
