Like, last day of the year. Talk about teasing, but there's going to be so much in this game. Sasuke in his Akatsuki cloak means they're going to dig pretty far into the series. As you can see already, they'll cover the Save Gaara arc. More Akatsuki characters. Definitely better jutsus. With all the other characters in the Accel games, like Tobi, it's unsure to compare them, but we know what's already possible.

i havent played the first one because ive been under the impression that naruto games are the same games over and over and over like dbz but this looks different

Nah, you should do a bit more research. Narutimate Storm 1 was an awesome game for what it covered, storyline wise! It was a good prequel. This second game is going to make people moan like there's no tomorrow. I just can't wait for it, but I'll have a PS3 issue by the time it might come out (next year). It's not a serious fighter, it's Naruto anyways, not DMC or Bayonetta, but it's really fun and addicting. I played it 15 hours straight the night I got it in the mail. Though being so far into Shippuuden now, it's hard to rewind all the way back to the pre-Shippuuden time period. The moves are awesome, the storyline was short because they skipped a few important moments like the Forrest of Death. More characters could've been included, and some were, but only as support characters. Nothing is more awesome than Itachi's Tsukiyomi Special. Youtube it just to get a taste of it. What's also awesome is that you can play it with the original Japanese seiyu or choose the lame dub. If you've ever played the Accel games, those are apparently like cycles, that include new characters as the manga progresses, but some of the specials in those games are INSANELY awesome, which gives me high hopes they'll be included in this game. They already animated four-tales Kyuubi Naruto for crying out loud with that spirit chakra beam, too!! INSANE!!!!!

wow, this game is just what i wanted to see when i played the first one. yeah the first one kinda sucks, old characters and storyline, but i love the 3D way of battle and the freedom on movement. this second one is going to be just perfect, latest characters and hell yeah, for the ps3, i cant wait to see more of this! btw i really love the last part, when Sasuke cast chidori on the ground, stylish point upppp!!    |

I hope they do a better job with the mission part of the game though, aka story mode? It's hard to play the first game recently after watching Shippuuden so long, yeah, but if you can put yourself back in that pre-Shippuuden time period, I'd say the first game was pretty successful. For sure Deidara is going to be a character being in the Save Gaara arc. That is definitely or more than positively will be the first part of the game, since in the anime after Naruto returns to the village, it jumps right into Akatsuki. Did anyone ever see the alternative ending for the first game where he leaves with Jiraiya? You can find it on youtube somewhere, too, but I hope they use the way they came back from the anime, too, where they're just walking through a forrest and you don't really see their faces. It could start off with the Sasuke thing which was shown WAY later in the series, or it could show Konohamaru doing the cat mission. Sasori might have two characters, there's Deidara, Kisame, Itachi, hopefully Kakazu and Hidan, possibly Tobi, too. They never really showed Zetsu in any of the Accel games though, and depending how far they go, maybe Madara's side/Tobi. But you never know since it's a working progress on how far they'll tap into the storyline, or the thing with Sasuke having the Akatsuki cloak might just be a teaser.

Yo, have you guys seen the latest stuff from it yet? I was reading/watching about it last night with my friend, and man, it's going to be so damn good!! Random, but Lars from Tekken 6 is going to be a playable character (for some reason, lol). I saw pictures of him, he looks like a real Naruto character, and he uses some turret gun. XD Not sure if you guys liked mission mode in the first game, but the new game will have a new mission mode AND a story mode!!!! Mission mode looks revamped a bit and you travel with Sakura. The environments look a LOT better, and not only that, judging from what I saw in the demo, you can actually break the environments, too. The fighting system is somewhat the same, but they added new jutsu in all areas, and there's better combinations to dish out now, and fights seem to last longer since you can counter in between. But I think that demo fight with Kakashi vs. Naruto/Sakura is just a part of the mission mode/story mode. Cause I can't imagine playing online or against another player and doing all these jutsu and button combos during every huge jutsu. Not sure if they added the special guage when you're on your last health bar, but everything just looks so better. If you've seen some of the scans of it, you'll flip out of your seat. GAME OF THE YEAR!!!!!

I played the demo in the first one and loved it. Although you were only limited to Kakashi and Naruto. It reminded me of the PS2 2D side scrolling Narutimate Ninjas. Only in the case with the combos and level's of specials. I have, kakashi's Double Lightning blade was amazing, and that was the first one. i can't wait for this one to come out! It will be a definite add to my gaming colletion!

XD" Lars is going to be in there because the artist for Naruto drew a costume for the character (a number of other mangakas did costumes for various characters as well). I'm assuming he will appear in said costume. Does anyone know a date yet? I seriously can't wait for this :C And I can't wait to play with all of you online >:D |

 No official date yet, but people in Europe will get to play it first. Also, there might be a collector's edition coming out, and talk about the fourth is mentioned. It's been confirmed that Yondaime will be playable, but if we have to unlock him or he's already unlocked is unknown. Also there's going to be DLC for this game as well, just like the firs game, maybe more support characters or even characters. I also forgot to mention there's 4-player co-op, so that'll be interesting. So many things they're adding/changing to this game, it's going to be so awesome. Sometime mid-late September is the only answer I know as far as a release date. It's not SO far away though. I recently saw the 5th Naruto OVA, and the entire thing is computer generated with cell shading and it was really awesome. If the storyline is like that, I wouldn't mind, it was pretty much like 2D animation, and it looked good. There's going to be so many jutsus in this game. Itachi is going to be rape in this game, can't wait. Here's other scans to keep you guys on your toes:    Also note, they're covering really far into the game. Originally, I thought they'd go up to the Itachi fight, but they're really stretching it up to the Pain fight, and also, there's new transformations in the game! w00t!! Honestly, game of the year for me, or most anticipated in my book. XD

Yeah, the use of Sage mode is going to be so awesome. They said this is the sequal, so no talk about a third game yet, but you never know since the manga is still on-going, but this game is going to be really awesome. What I also like is now they added trophies, or most likely they better will, cause the first game didn't have any trophies cause it released a bit before trophies were added to PSN. I didn't finish ALL the missions in mission mode either, that boss one where you fight three summons is difficult. -_-" The use of button combinations in this game is also potrayed better, too, I think during actual fights. I can't wait for the demo, it's been released over seas, but yeah I hope that fight is actually a part of the storyline or mission mode, cause I saw someone playing the demo in Japan, and the fight alone was like 10 minutes long. So curious to see the new characters, too. More Akatsuki members just make me foam out the mouth.

Picked this game today. Played for four hours and only finished chapter 2. So I think you will get length out of this game. The game is awesome, I for one am a fan of quick time events and the ones I this game are epic. Some follow the anime while some of it is completely original. The original scenes are welcome because they still lead to the same outcome and leaves the game unpredictable in a way.

Yeah especially during the boss fights, some things are different when other parts of the cutscenes are almost dead on. Ugh, I was going to get it yesterday, but I was packing up and moved back home and was too tired to go out anymore, and now today I have like a cold, but I still want to get it. Meh, I'll probably get it tomorrow, cause I needed to go to my uncle's to give him stuff and he's at work now and my sister has a friend over. Tomorrow probably... lol.

Finished chapter one because busy playing Uncharted 2 first. Anyways this game is awesome, especially the battle, feels intense. But there is fairly much amount of loading at times even after installing the data. And I wish we can ninja dash thing instead of just jumping in adventure mode. But the battle never fails to satisfy me, lots of combos you can pull out XD |
