Tsukihime is one of my favorite anime cause of it's story. I even played the game even though its japanese. I had to read a walkthrough to enjoy the game.

Tsukihime started off as an H-game, but the story was a bit too elaborate to be considered just another H-game, and it made the transition to anime and whatnot rather easily. Asides from said H-game, there is also Melty Blood, one of the best 2D fighting games I've ever played. It's for the PC and requires a USB controller to play. I have a couple screens from the game:

I highly recommend Melty Blood, if you can find it. Haven't played the H-game, but apparently, the multiple story arcs are what make the game.

Melty Blood does not require a USB controller. It doesn't need any controller at all. You can play just using the keyboard, although it kinda is a pain in the butt sometimes.

I thought the Tsukihime anime was just okay. (Of course, after playing MB, I feel that my opinion has grown worse over the months.) While it did have its moments, I found it a little too predictable at some points. Also, they only used a small fraction of the cast. While I guess you can only do X number of story arcs, it would've been nice to expand the show's horizons, even if it had to go to 24 episodes.

Oh, by the way, Episode 11 was the big payoff for the series. It may be that episode alone that may agruably make Shiki Tohno the most tolerable Whiny Male Lead(TM)

Nyo! =^__^=
