Yes, I watched it last year, and dude it was so awesome. Totally one of my type especially when its part of Madhouse Studio. Also made me so effing happy that it won the 2010 Japan Academy Prize for Animation of the Year. |

That movie was amazing, one of the best ever. I loved Natsuki's Hanafuda fight and I loved Kazuma in general. He ruled. Great movie, I saw it on a big screen at MIT and then got to ask the director questions! Of course, I hit myself in the face with the mike cuz i'm stupid...

Great movie. Last year's best movie overall. Well, it's the sort of movie where you're slowly understanding the story. "Math olympics? Oh, right, they did mention it during the first scene. So that's what it's all about." Well, you know, the kind of anime where everything slowly falls into places and you'd finally got the grasp.

Yes, it's awesome! I really especially liked the lively casts, and how everyone loves the grandma! And the grandma is awesome too! Large families like that feels really great, just like my own, so I can totally relate. And you should watch it together with your family and friends. That makes it more fun. |

I love this movie as well. The story is interesting and there are hilarious parts as well. But I must say that the romance aspect is a bit sudden and the animation for the male protagonist is off, to me, at the ending. I also read the manga and after some consideration I think that the flow of the manga is more smoother. I think that the romance aspect problem is solved in the manga. But regardless of that, both of are interesting and I would recommand it to others. |
