Seeking Recommendations for "Darker" Songs

Hello, I just ran across this site and found it pretty cool. Anyways I like the sort of songs that either have a stronger presence, darker feel or more atmospheric touch. I really like Inner Universe by Origa for the Ghost in the Shell series, which I would consider to have a pretty atmospheric vibe to it, to give an example of. Any artist or series names would be appreciated so I can go check them out. Thank you!! |

The only song I can really think of is LOTUS by Dir en Grey. It's not available on here, so you'll have to find it by yourself.

One song I can think of would be Yume no Ashioto ga Kikoeru from Ga Rei Zero. If you watch the anime as well, you'll get a better feel of the song. Another is an ED of a new anime, no full version is out yet, but it's the best I can remember. Like my other suggestion, watching the anime as well will give you a better feel. It's Magia by Kalafina, an ED of the new Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime. I have some other dark songs, but I can't remember them, I'll let you know of more dark songs I can find.  |

Well, I have a few suggestions: - Kanashimi no Mukou he by Kanako Itou - Modern Rose by Kanako Itou - Katayoku no Tori by Akiko Shikata - Cold Bullet Blues by Maon Kurosaki - Aria by Kalafina - Higurashi no Naku Koro ni by Eiko Shimamiya - Kanashii Yokan by Marianne Amplifier - Aizome by Mamiko Noto - Hollow Men by Maon Kurosaki Those are all of the songs I consider 'dark' that I can remember. As for good anime that have dark songs, two of the songs on this list are from High School of the Dead, so you could check out other songs from the anime (There are probably a few more like them that I didn't put on this list). Some other anime that have a song on this list and probably have more 'dark' songs are School Days and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.  |

lol, I can't think of any other band than Dir en Grey for their Darker style metal. I wouldn't consider Inner Universe a "dark" song, although I can see why you would say that (gives off that sort of feeling in the OP).
