I played the actual video game on the GB Color, that was really fun honestly. I'll never forget the main theme song either, it was really catchy. I have the emulator for it and I can still play it anytime though it runs my CPU off the roof. XD

I still have the GB Color game, I just don't have a GB to play it on. >.< I found it fun, but really frustrating at times. It was really difficult to start off with, and I remember the gym leaders being brutal until you were able to collect enough good cards. That was my experience with it anyway, although that was like 7 years ago. I haven't played the actual Trading Card Game in ages, and I gave away every card I had to my cousin when I was 15, since he had way more interest in it at that point than I did.    |

and the only way to actually get those rare cards was by having those red thingy on top and have the other person connect to you just like they did with pokemon Silver and Gold for the GBC the Mystery Gift which you can only do with each person per day makes me wonder if they're ever going to make another one like that?

Oh my, I've nvr played the video game before o_o But the real TCG was cool. I have a box of cards man! xD Ahh.. those days which I play pokemon TCG with my cousin. I'm not really good at it... But I'm pretty good at DM... hahaha. Btw, I collect some rare cards. Pretty lucky you can say.

I use to be huge into the card game itself. My mom spent all kinds of money at card shops to get the cards when I was a lil' kid, and I still have all the cards from way back then. Really, I need to find some way to sell what I have. Easy way to maybe make some money. I loved the card game and still play the games, but I think it could be beneficial to sell the cards I have, since I have a couple thousand total from back when the game first came out. Those gotta sell for some money, right? >>; |

@ Shuy- Having a ton of cards like you have that could get you quite a bit of money, depending on how rare they are. Personally, I would keep my cards rather than sell them just because of the memories I have with my cards. And because I probably wouldn't get too much money for them if I try to sell them. XD I used to play the card game when I was younger, it was nothing too serious, it was always just with my friends or my cousins and I doubt we were playing it the right way too. But that doesn't matter too much, it was still fun while it lasted. I still have all of my cards too, I know I definitely have over a thousand, maybe 2 thousand. I'm not sure, I haven't counted them in awhile. Currently they're just sitting on a bookshelf collecting dust.  |

Well I know I have like all the rares and stuff from the first few original series, a couple ancient mew [which I found out years later weren't rare at all, lmao] and the complete collection for the first few series plus many from series that came after. When I say series I mean like the releases of the cards. The released like new sets of cards in different series. Like I think they had the original trainer series or something, and the elements for names of card series. Or something along those lines. I would like to keep mine too, but they're all sitting in a notebook that hasn't been touched more than once or twice in years. I could maybe get at least a couple hundred bucks altogether. Specially with the rare holos I have sitting in good condition. |
