Chinese or Japanese, They ARE NOT the same thing

It took me two classes yesterday to convince my friend that Chinese and Japanese people are not the same. He also pronounced anime "anyime" had to resist punching him in the face :L. He also said that anime was from China. And even richer was, I asked him where Japan was, he said "beside Australia? right" NO!!!! Tommorow I'm gonna make him differenciate the number 2 this is gonna be hilarious :D |

Lol. Your friend is pretty interesting. xD How would "anyime" be pronounced anyways. I can come up with around 5 different ways from that. xD  |

Learning both about Japanese and Chinese language and culture, I know that they are different however there are some slight similarities. Maybe your friend needs a Geography lesson with a map and maybe a culture/language lesson? |

I face the same problem sometimes Im Chinese n i love anime n ppl just...well as u said...cant differentiate I just get a bit angry n i finally chose 2 explain once n if they cant understand i slap on their head or ignore them
