What do you think of the game? Personally i really enjoy it, but a lot of people seem to feel that its bad. While its true that a lot of mistakes were made during the release, and the game has some issues with gameplay its also true that it brings a unique experience to the zombie survival genre and offers a lot of solid gameplay. The story, while nothing new, is cool, and the characters are interesting. The setting and graphics are good, and combat is really in depth. At least thats how i feel about it lol.

gets kinda boring after awhile it was fun at the beginning but it starts to lose its luster     |

It's only good cuz there's a good cooperative in it. Aside from that... not bad, but not that great either. |

| YOU KIDDING ME DEAD ISLAND IS GREAT.. ( EXCEPT FOR THOSE THAT CANT TAKE THE HORROR AND BEING CHASED BY ALOT OF DEAD BRAINS IN THE GAME) THIS GAME IS AN NO ENDING FUN ... JAJAJAJ ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU RUN OVER THE ZOMBIES WITH THE TRUCK AND STILL GET POINTS FOR IT LOL. ----- Trust me i dont just buy any game that has a good looking cover i always do my homework and research my games and the grades they get ------ |

Great game, even though the game lacks brilliant gameplay sequence after you've completed all the campaigns. The co-op is still fun nevertheless. Hey, who doesn't love pointless zombie bashing on friday nights?     |

I agree with Massacre, the co-op is pretty much the only reason to pick it up. Me and my friend are at Act 2 now, and I will say that Act 1 was pretty entertaining. Exploring the lower floors of the hotel, the lush jungle, the water and sand, all that was a great setting. Then Act 2 kicks in and sticks you in a mostly brown and gray desolate city, completely ruining all interest I had in the setting. You head out into the jungle at some point apparently, so maybe things will pick up again then. Aside from that, I can't really say a lot of good about it. The people you help out are jerks most of the time, or just complete idiots, and the game is incredibly glitchy and broken in quite a few places. We've had a lot of trouble trying to connect to the other person's games, some lines being spoken by people to us have gotten cut off (this happens a lot), and driving in a vehicle for more than 20 seconds will always result in the passenger player freezing and having to restart their system.    |
