Well, I was playing Melty Blood and after seeing Archetype: Earth I started trying to remember where else I've seen such characters: A godlike lady that doesn't interact with the world much. Aside from Archetype: Earth herself I could remember only two: Lord of Nightmare (Slayers) and probably Aura (.Hack series). So, can anyone else remember any? Also, to add, they almost always have extremely long hair too for some reason. Oh, I can also think of Beatrice from Umineko and Kanna from Air, but they're not that much overpowered and they have human parts in them. EDIT: Oh, right, I remembered one more - Zenon from Disgaea 2. Aside from Aura, most of those characters are usually some kind of "sleeping" or "awakened" form (Earth-Arcueid, Zenon-Rozalin, Nightmare-Lina). |

Well, there's Holo from Spice and Wolf, if I remember correctly. She's a goddess of the harvest who appears in human-wolf form occasionally to the villagers. I don't think she really has any superpowers, though; she even says so herself that the humans dubbed her as a god. Chii/Elda (Chobits) could be considered a goddess of persocoms. Akito Sohma in Fruits Basket is also a goddess, although not exactly the same kind you're talking about. Hanyu Furude is a time goddess, as is her human medium Rika, and by extension, Frederica Bernkastel. Karin Hanazono from Kamichama Karin--uh, self-explanatory. Madoka Kaname ascends to godhood after her contract with Kyubey. There's also Aqua Regina from Mermaid Melody (Pichi Pichi Pitch) who is the goddess of the seven seas, and she's replaced by Lucia in the manga version. Yuno Gasai in Mirai Nikki takes Deus's place as the god of time and space in the first dimension. The six goddesses (Jupiter sisters) in The World God Only Knows / Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai. I think that's all of them, but someone else can add onto my list.
Thanks to liweny for this lovely Mystia claim icon! <3

Elie from Rave master. Her true self from the past is Resha Valentine(A noble with the some rare forgotten strongest magic). Elie has short hair in the present while Resha has long hair in the past(like arceuid-earth lol) They both have same attitude also Yusuke Urameshi (YuYu Hakusho) when awakened also becomes long hair. lol. And Son Goku. Although they are not Godesses lol. To Add: Yuuki Cross Yuuki Kuran from Vampire Knight. She's a noble vampire same as Arcuied. Short Hair in the present but when awakened, becomes long hair. |

@Mystia: By Goddesses I meant some supreeme beings, not classic term. From the characters I listed only Lord of Nightmare is a real goddess, while Earth is a vampire and Zenon is a demon lord. But the way they are overpowered beings with little care for the world and common sense is what I mean. So I'm not sure if anyone you listed fits there. Hanyu... well, her witch form might fit this group. Frederica... maybe the one that appears at the very end of Higurashi, but Rika and Frederica from Umineko aren't that powerful and a bit too meddlesome. Though neither of them can blow up a planet on a whim, so I'm not sure. @Umbreon: Resha... maybe, but her scale is way less than the ones I meant. And she tries to save humans and such. |
