Instrumental OST's
Link | by PianoRaymond on 2012-08-24 14:46:10
Hi, I'm new to this site. After browsing around a bit, I noticed that most of the music here is mainly about songs with vocals (dubbing, openings, endings, etc.)

Just wondering if there is a good amount of interest in the instrumental soundtracks that accompany animes and films. I'd like to hear and experience member's works in this category (if there are any) for I compose and do piano covers of these works myself.

There are generally not many members who want to download the OST soundtracks, unless they're particularly good, but I for one am very interested in a series' background music. It's another one of those indicators as to how much effort is spent on the show, I think. c= Are there any anime OSTs in particular that you like?

I like the opening and endings for sure, but I find that all the emotions that i feel while watching animes comes from the background music that accompanies it.

Too bad the ost's are so underated x.x I particularly like joe hisaishi's works for the ghibli productions: Spirited Away, Howl's Castle, Castle in the sky, etc.

I just finished watching Nogizaka Haruka no himitsu and their ost's were splendid, i'd say that the music from 5 cm per second is beautiful as well. (not sure if you know these examples i'm talking about haha.....)

Is there any ost you would recommend that you've enjoyed? I'm glad there's some1 who takes an interest in it ^^
