I've seen alot of songs requested on the request songs list and it made me wonder: How many votes must a song have in order to be uploaded on the site? I'm just curious is all.  |

Votes doesn't matter much I think? other then knowing how HOT that song is and how many people is waiting for...is what I think. (Like "Guren no Yumiya" full opening song, there's 3 request for the same song...) and I'm abit shock that none of the new(or untra HOT) songs are up and available for people to download... is that no one is uploading anymore? or the admin of Gendou isn't around to add them into the site? didn't see any new songs update for nearly a month now... and this is quite the 1st time I didn't see any updates for so long... |

Well I've uploaded some of the popular songs people have been requesting like the Yuyushiki op "Seeno" and the ed "Affection" and the Haiyore Nyaruko S endings as well. But at the same time the other songs I uploaded like the Devil Survivor 2 opening and ending as well as the 1st 2 openings of Date A Live. I uploaded Strawberry rain but it was in Kanji so I re-uploaded it with an English title. I also uploaded the Zettai Bouei Leviathan op, so i guessed it was based off of votes. But It's not like uploading is the only thing I care about. I just wanted to help others who couldn't find it. There are also others who are too lazy to find it somewhere else and just wanna rely on this site (lol lazy people). And last but not least, this site is kinda dead with the activity. I've checked the site like multiple times a day, and like sometimes the forums aren't even touched, just viewed. And when i go to chat there's only 3 people. But I really hope the activity on the page comes back to life. |

hmmm...but the uploaded songs mostly isn't available for download now for what I see (since there's not update like I said) I was thinking of uploading the songs that I might have but with lesser votes too... if there's no update for the site, people will leave and go to other site to look for the songs they want NOW..., I'm still here to check for updates as well kinda like...a regular routine~ hahaha~ ^^ (although not active in forum) the forum is still active, but for other topics mostly, but yah, would be nice to see more activity in the page rather then death~ |

Well lol, you can download by clicking the song. And if that doesn't work try refreshing the page or switch browsers. And If that doesn't work try a different computer or laptop. Sorry I don't know how to specifically solve the problem but I only know those ways and I'm sure it'll help. |

If a song on the request list only has a few votes, chances are much lower that I will release it. This is because a song with more votes means more people want to hear it as compared to a song with very little votes. Keep this in mind please when browsing the request page, and always vote for what you want to hear.  |

what if there are a lot of song we want to hear but we reached the limit for voting? why is there even a limit? and how do we know what our limit for voting is?? |

You can vote as many times as your user level (this is posted in the FAQ for the music tab). Once you have voted for a song that has been released, you get that vote back and can use it again for a different song. But even if a song has lots of votes already, one more won't really make a difference. My eyes catch big numbers, so one more added onto a big number doesn't mean anything. Vote mainly for songs with not very many votes so that the number gets bigger and bigger, and eventually it will catch my eye. |

Other then forum, you should really say "bring the SITE itself back to life" would be better ^^' anyway, on my opinion, if this site is active like "before" with more music being added regularly (either popular or lack of demand songs) rather then a big delay of lack of updates, it would be alive right away since people love to listen to anime songs alot while chasing the anime series while it airs. while visiting other anime songs DL site, I did notice all kind of songs being DL ALOT in numbers, and these are mostly the songs gendou site doesn't have now, no matter it's new or deleted old songs. and if people taking charge is busy/offline/absent...etc and lead to the lack of updates then..., what can we user do? really nothing much we can help isn't it? other then hopping to see more updates here~ ^^l'l hahaha... |

This website takes pride in not releasing songs until they are legally available to purchase. This means we will not release a song even one day before it is legally available for people to buy. Those other sites that have songs the second they are made is not the foundation we take here at Gendou. There are a lot of legal matters involved, and that is one of them. I personally am trying to give more time in releasing more songs that ARE currently available, but you have to understand that myself and Gendou as well are busy people. We have bills to pay. We have family and friends to hang out with. Sadly, there is nothing that you regular users can do other than keep posting in the forums, chatroom, request list, and so forth to keep this site active. If there are no users, there is nothing. It is the regular users that keeps this site strong, not the moderators and admins. I am doing my best to give you all more music to listen to, and even have been upholding GendouTV for you all. That is a free stream that constantly runs for you all, the users. I am doing what I can to keep this site alive, and in return I ask that you keep this site going strong as well. |

Hmm... Well, people does have their own real life to work on and can't stay on the internet all day long, but you can't blame people for keep asking for more cos all they want is hopping to see some new songs base on what anime is airing that season, if it's really nice then they will hope to see it gets added here, if the song from sone anime series is blacklisted then we can't say anything. but really not hopping to see a long lack of updates since...quite alot of anime songs even from much earlier seasons aren't being added too even through they are being release and available for people to buy, and some of the songs I'm waiting for aren't getting much votes, or maybe ANY votes so there's really no chance seeing it up here..., not complaining but...the voting system really kills off quite a numbers of good songs so I personally not voting for anything anymore after testing out a while ago. For the GendouTV thing..., it's a nice idea but I'm not even touching it at all (sorry no offence) coz if I can get to hear some songs/see music videos from there, I really would rather want to see the songs being added in here as soon as possible so that I can DL and listen to it at my free time when I'm offline~ and not staying on the internet "staring" at the music videos for bloody xx hours... |

I just updated music last week, so it really hasn't been that long since last updates. Not to mention, there are hundreds of songs in the request list, and I don't watch enough anime to know what is and isn't in season. The only thing I pay attention to is if it has votes and if it's released officially yet. Just be patient and more will come. I will even be uploading tomorrow if I get home early enough. As it stands, I have no idea when I will be home tomorrow. Also, every vote counts. If you like a song, vote for it. As for GTV, you don't have to watch it. You can always have it open in another tab and use it as a pseudo radio. There aren't only Japanese songs on it, but also AMVs with many many English songs on them. Just be patient and don't pester us, and more songs will be coming. |

You relay this information in the "Report Problems" section of the forums. It's fine though, thank you for letting me know. EDIT: The song is fine for me. Try just redownloading it and see if that fixes the problem. I was able to listen to the entire thing without any issues, and there was no glitches in the song either. |
