Kinda old by now I know, but I though you might wanna know - 美 (mi) means beautiful. It's a common element for names. It also has other pronunciations. 美奈å (Minako) is a girl's name. æ£ç¾Ž (Masami) is a boy's name. ãれㄠis kirei, meaning pure or clean, which I guess could also be translated as beautiful. This is a good site for looking up KANJI. - http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/wwwjdic.html Click on "find kanji in database" and you can use the romanji (English) spelling to find words. There's also a search by English meaning, but it's not entirely reliable. Important note - "ã‹ã‚ã„ã„" (kawaii) not to be confused with "ã“ã‚ã„ã„" (kowaii), which means scary. |
