Japanese Dojin Games
|
Can anyone tell me what Dojin is exactly, it looks like a sort of interactive DVD but I'm not sure. And I think it might be for adults.

Wooh! I love doujin games, although some are H and are senseless, most games like Tsukihime has a great storyline. I kinda made it my hobby collecting this kind of games and even buying their anime counter parts |

Doujin games just mean that they are games made by doujin circles, like groups that make doujinshi. In other words, any game made by non-professional groups and usually sold at Comic Market or other events. Most of these are usually fanworks, but there are also original stuff (which makes it similar to doujinshi too). Tsukihime is a visual-novel/dating-sim type of a game and is H, but what makes it a doujin game is that Type-Moon made the game before they turned into a company. Melty Blood is a doujin game too, but it's in fighting genre (and based on Tsukihime). |
