Heard of a Dragon Ball Z movie with actors?

| I've heard for a while that there would be a DBZ movie with actors sometime in the future, but I'm still not sure as to whats happening. There's stuff like Jet Li's gonna be Vegeta and Jackie Chan as Son Goku. The Rock as Cell and wierd stuff. I don't have any opinion, just want to know if anyone's heard of it too? Actually if they did, it wouldn't be the first DBZ movie with actors. I once saw this cover of an old movie in Chinatown that from the pictures it was DBZ with actors, but it looked really messed up (bad director and everything). If you haven't seen it, be glad you don't know what I'm talking about. |

yeah, i've heard of a dbz live action. lots of anime have been turning into live action. i'm currently downloading/watching the sailor moon one. ^^;     |

| I've heard about it too some years ago, but I dont think its true. Even though I like DBZ I think it would be a bit silly to do a live action movie, specially of how they would look like with lots of hair gel :P |

Yeah, yeah, I heard, I heard. How DUMB. My gods, I checked that out on 3 or 4 different sites and the casts are all different. But here's a list of cast I found common on a few of them: Vegeta: Ray Park (Toad, Darth Maul) Bulma: Jessica Alba ( P.U.N.K.S, Idle Hands, Dark Angel) Raditz: Jason Bateman (Teen Wolf Two, Necessary Roughness, The Sweetest Thing) Nappa: Bill Goldberg (Universal Soldier: The Return, WWE Wrestling) Tien: Orlando Bloom ( Black Hawk Down, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean ) Krillin: Verne Troyer (Mini Me: Austin Powers 2 & 3) Chi-Chi: Eliza Dushku (True Calling) Piccolo: Chirstopher Judge (Stargate) Goku: Jackie Chan But yeah, I hope this doesn't happen. I really do. OH! And get this, I heard they're doing a live action Real Bout High School movie, too, using Melissa Joan Heart to play Ryoko. I hope that doesn't happen, either. |

| There were two really bad (like so bad they're funny) live-action DB movies in China a few years ago. I saw one of them, and the fact they made Mai and Shou like Terminators and Emperor Pilaf the strongest character made it enjoyable in a non-serious way. |

I haven't heard of it. I can't say this version of DBZ won't work or won't be a blockbuster hit. Who am I to say so, right? But I can't imagine real people playing the parts of the characters in the anime or in the game. I think they know what they are doing. The technology we have nowadays is capable of imitating what has been in the anime. And with people knowledgeable in martial arts, I think they can pull the stunts off. No offense though but I prefer watching the anime of DBZ than seeing this whole "live" movie. ^_^ |

i agree with Rui our technology today can make good movies Take for example "The Lord Of The Rings" movie..I mean it was GREAT! the fight scenes are awesome.... I never read the novel of it but after watching "The Series" i was interested in the story more over.... ....Anyways back to the Subject.... A Great movie depends on the people who work on it and the Capital to start with.... ....Wow Goldberg im like his Biggest fan i like him not as an actor but as a Wrestler I mean look at his first day view he got 127-0! .....Back to the Subject... Remeber the movie "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon"? it has moves like DBZ... So i like to watch the movie ....And No offence rzmmdx but the movie (i think) will be a hit

| This may be a little hard, but I believe the Dragon Ball Z movie project has been scrapped. I think it's because they had a hard time finding actors. I was supposed to come out either this year or last year. Sorry |
