Any Shinigami believers out there? What do you believe it is? Is there one, or are there many? What do/es s/he / it/them do? Are the animes "Death Notes", "Bleach", or "Boogiepop Phantom" more accurate, or is Shinigami something else entirely? Am I just morbid? ...skip that last one... =^-^= ã«ã‚ƒã‚ |

I do believe in Shinigami, although I'm so used to people talking about there being one Death who does the job, so as for there being more then one I have no idea whether to agree or disagree...

the chinese believe is when you die, the underworld will send people to 'pick you up'. because many spirit hold on to the living world and doesn't want to leave. some drawing shown them as armed but i don't really know about the orginal stories about these 'death keeper'. |

Shinigami are fabled and their traits and ways seem to be much arguable. In Death Note, the shinigami are a small population, in what seems to be a wasteland, constantly bored, in the form of what resemble monsters.Whilst, in Bleach, they resemble humans, and have a society all of their own, with emotions and thoughts that also resemble humans. Death Note's shinigami kill for their own lifespan, and Bleach's kill for the good of the spirit and human world. Basically, nobody can come out straight and define a shinigami and everything about them.
