I want to backing up my DVD, i'd use DivX but is another codec good too like Real Media. For DivX codec what configuration that best for anime DVD ? write down your Opinion... |

I dunno about DivX, but you can use a program called "DVD Shrink" to backup your DVDs, it makes the exact copy.  |

| if you want to convert your avi's to dvd format, you could use vso divx to dvd, which is what i use. |

| backing up ur DVDs as in ripping them from the manufactured ones? RIPing DVDs is actually a pretty difficult process which requires a bunch of different programs. DVD shrink is a good program, but from what i remeber u cant back them if the dvd is protected. dvd uses mpeg-2 encoding which u need to rip from the disc first and then using another program to convert into avi using divx. the whole processes takes a lot of time and i havent had much success with it.. maybe u should ask a professional on this or do some research on somesites try animeyume.org it tells u how to convert avi to rvmb which i dont know if it'll help but goood luck |
