The episode where BT stab the ground, revealing a red Chaos Gate.(I forgot which episode it was) Because I liked the sound when she stabed the ground and the effect that happened.(not flashy but quite shoothing) Why such a question?

.hack is awsome! I fell in love with the mangas and just had to download the series. So far I'm only up to ep 12 *Pouts*. But as for my fav ep...um... *Thinks* Eh... the one when Mimiru meets that cute pink haired chick with all the healing potions. ^-^ She is so kawaii!

| I like the one where Subaru finally says that the crimson knights are dead. I have the soundtrack for .hack now, and I reconized all the songs. This one had some of the best! Also, the pace was a bit quicker than most episodes. |

This is the second season to the Hack series. Unfortunately, it is only 12 episodes. It was good for an anime, but the storyline isn't that well. Some people do think that the story is good, but I don't. They have Aura and a new AI. If you like Dot hack then check this one out!

i love that las episode where aura is awakened. It is cause you see skeith and tsukasa and subaru well tsukasa and subaru in RL.

The real story of .hack is actually the PS2 game. .Hack//SIGN is the anime that show what cause the trouble in the PS2 game and that .Hack//DUSK is the anime that shows the aftermath. There is also .Hack//LIMINALITY that happened in the same time line as the PS2 game. To know the REAL story of .Hack is 1st watching .Hack//SIGN, then play the 4 games, then see Liminality, then watch Dusk. Then ANYONE will find .Hack to be bloody interesting. In case anyone of you reading this finished the process and still find the series to be boring then I have nothing more to say. Yeah, some says .Hack//SIGN is nice, some say not. But wait till you see the whole thing. Nice....

Coming from someone who has seen EVERYTHING that .hack has to offer, I will put forward that the TV series is the best part of it. Sure the games were the main part of the story where all the important stuff happened, but the plot and characters are simply lame. The TV series actually had a personality about it, one that only .hack//LIMINALITY could match, though that was too short to be any good. The music from .hack is some of the best. Yuki Kajiura is one great composer, and I loved her work in Noir as well. .hack rates third on my list of best music, only behind FLCL and Naruto. To answer the original question, my favorite episode is Unison, which isn't really part of the main series, it's an extra, but it was cool to see the characters of the show and games to meet each other. I couldn't stop laughing the entire time. After that is the one where the Crimson Knights are dissolved by Subaru. That one was very bittersweet, like being relieved, yet punched at the same time. |

Ive seen .hack//sign way back when it was being fansubbed. I enjoyed it, but I know a lot of people who didnt, but they're biggest complaint was the lack of action. I personally didnt mind having the plot progress via a lot of talking. Its hard to pick out my favorite episode in the series, there are a lot of good ones for a lot of good reasons. I guess I would have to go with the final episode, because thats when I got to see real faces. But somebody already said that. But as far as the entire .hack enterprise goes, my favorite has to be the manga .hack//legend of twilight, which just published the third and final edition. One of the best six hundred yen I have ever spent... Aw, come on, Aura's daughter is cute...

| Yup, long time ago I happened to download the first episode and then I just fell in love with the series. It's so good! I love the art, I love the pacing, I love the music! It's my kind of anime! |

| i dont know why... i just fell in love with .hack//sign after the 1st episode i watched. it was so well done to me, like the artwork and the music are extremely impressive. also the rpgs and .hack//liminality are great. i have yet to see .hack//legend of the twilight, and im planning on it soon. i have a feeling im not gonna like it as much though... |

I love .hack//sign it is the best one!!!!!!!!!I just started on .hack//legend of the twilight(manga and anime) and it is real good. the .hack//sign sound track is awesome,the anime is awesome,IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!and i dont have a fave episode cause i love them all!!!Ive seen the series like three times an i think i get everything now.
It's all fun and games untill Snape ends up in a banna suit....

My favorite episode was Net Slum, all because of one line. "Maybe I should talk more like Sora *in a mocking tone* Oh" - Ginkan BTW, I'm glade you said that Yotsuba, because if you didn't, I would have. ^_^

I like episode 28 Unison. Mainly just because Kite and gang show up in it.
