FF7 WAS TRHE GREATEST PRG EVER i cant wait till font misiion 4 comes out here same with ff12; thats coming along well too. |

ok Final fantasy games rule (except for 9 that sucks) At the moment im playing crystal chronicals on lame cube.

FF9 rocked man!!!!!! I agree 7 was the best plot out of all of them. But x had the best battle system.( I havent played X-2) Anyways anyone play xenogears??? that was the best rpg ever made!!!! seroiusly!!! Xenosagas good too, cant wait till episode two. Does anyone play batllefield vietnam or 1942 here? ohh and why does ff12 suck?( even if it does, ill probably get sucked in by the damn adds)

all the final fantasy games after 6 were so-so if you ask me. 6 is the best, thus is my edict.

especialy with that esper girl, damn what was here name, anyways I played xenogears for 5 mins over at a friends house, but the tight gits never released the game in england and my comp aint chiped

oh yeah, kingdom hearts was pretty good as well i cant wait for the sequal. and X2 sucks because they ruined blitzball, I didn't think it was possible but they did. And by far the worst RPG ever has to be unlimited saga, man that sucked, there are better RPGS out on the amiga better graphics to

k this is slightly not compliant to psx copy right laws( whatever u want to call them). Download a psx emulator then some games off emule and play with better graphics then the original psx. I hsve all the greats(vagrant story, all the psx FFs, xenogears, breath of fire4, fron mision 3, chrono cross. i could keep going. Its realy easy to set up. as long as u have a so so computer thats as strong as a psx of course lol.

there a giant giant difference between rpgs from japan and the states. pesonally i hate american rpgs. ("I ORC OF SOME STUPID VILLAGE WILL SLAY THEE>...") there dumb. Japanese rpgs have real themes and stories that actualy mean something. they could teach somthing about life without u eaven knowing it. anway im not sayin all amercan rpgs suck(but most do) and im not sayin all japanses rpgs are great(but most are). hehehe me so angry hehee

Final Fantasy VII has always been and will always be my favorite RPG of all time, though I haven't played six yet, but I do have it...just need the time. FF8 and FF9 are both great, but I couldn't play them more than once. Kingdom Hearts is also a good one, though a little dry on plot. I haven't played Xenogears yet, but I am working through Xenosaga right now, and I like what I see. Chrono Trigger is my fav classic, though Chrono Cross sucked for the most part. Hmmm...the .hack games were also fun, though a little much to tackle again. Yeah, I've played a lot, and it's hard for an RPG to put me down. I agree that Japanese RPGs are better than American, and that is probably credited to their plots, which actually have a substance to them. It baffles me how stories in American entertainment are so fuggin lame! The Japanese know how to get you into the plot so tight that you can't help but feel like you're a part of it. Lastly, I wish that Square-Enix would get its act together with spreading FF beyond the game world. Their attempts at movies and TV shows have been failures, IMO, and I wish they would make something that had a FF feel, not just a bunch of allusions. That is all. |

| Does anyone do pen-n-paper tabletop RPGs? Ya know, games like Dungeons-n-Dragons or BESM (Big Eyes, Small Mouth) a popular d20 system based Anime RPG? If you find a lack of good RPG stories/plots out there, give these games a try with your friends and make your own stories. |

Table top RPGs are awesome! I play D&D but it's starting to get a little bit repetative. Looking for a new system. I'm actually thinking of making one after my favorite RPG Xenogears. Has anyone else played Xenogears? It's a great game and if you haven't, spend the time and money to do so.

i also do table top role-playing... though our population seems to be declining due to MMORPG's... i play stuff like Heros Unlimited and Rifts (from Palladium)... i hear suikoden II is also good... some even say better (if you ignore the graphics)... i've only played suikoden III and it was very good... maybe even better than ffvii (but that's probably because the story got ruined for me...) suikoden iv is coming out and i can't wait... 108 different characters to choose from... plus combo rune(magic) attacks, regular combo attacks, one-on-one duels, and fighting fleets with fleets... cant go wrong with that... |

Some people dont like what i'm talking about but i love the true clasic 16bit 2d, long story, style games. I love games that have simple yet enteresting graphics but the focus is the game-play and story. Their awsome. For some reason better graphics in the final fantasy games never seemed a plus other than cinimas. cuz the fighting is the same sort that doesn't need graphics. They should make a huge storied with bad graphics big story tons of characters and then it switches to high quality cinimas... like summons :D

hell yea, i love the old ff games those are my fav. i wrote a bunch of hacks for the ramfiles. so you can have 4 kefkas on your team and stuff.
