all files hosted on gendou.com are in mp3 format. if your computer names them .mpeg, it is misconfigured.

the files are all named with .mp3 as the file extension. your computer may rename them as .mpeg because of certain HTTP headers which are sent out by the server. there is nothing i can do about that but tell you that audio/x-mpeg should be set to type .mp3.

| Assuming you are using Windows, check your file types and the extension they are associated with in Folder Options. As Gendou-sama said, sounds as though when you download a file of *type* audio/x-mpeg, your computer is giving it the extension .mpeg, not .mp3. And as you mentioned, you could work around your problem by manually renaming the file extensions on your PC after you download them. |

You can probably just rename them, replacing .mpeg with .mp3...

| hmmm i'm using opera when downloading from this site, i don't know how to solve the problem when you are using an win IE, i just went to the preferences section, then file types, then i edited audio/x-mpeg file extension into mp3, and that's it =p sorry if i don't know about the windows internet explorer somebody said that it's in the folder options something. =p |
