Camp Hyrule

Is anyone going to Camp Hyrule this year? This is my first year and I am curious as to what it will be like.

I want to go to Camp Hyrule. Are there really monsters and dragons there? But seriously, this would be my first time, too and I really don't know what to expect. |

Camp Hyrule is an online camp provided by Nintendo. I think that it deals with all things Nintendo, Zelda included. You share a cabin with other campers and participate in various activities. Registeration ended yesterday though, so I'm sorry Lith. Other than that I have no idea as its my first time.

Heh, I signed up for and participated in Camp Hyrule back in 2003. Apparently my Cabin or whatnot won something. :P But I got a cool screensaver. :D

Wait, wait.. An online camp? How does that work? I saw a mention of it on nintendo's website a few days ago. Tell me more. |

Basically, after you sign up and such, you get assigned to your cabins and all. You get E-mails quite often to act as announcements. (Back in 2003 there was a "loft monster" aboot.) You can go to various parts of the camp to do things such as chat in chatroom type dee-lees, play games, and other such stuff. I'm not quite sure how it works in the end, but if your cabin team (named after Nintendo series) wins, you get a screen saver and such, or at least that's how it was two years ago. :P My memory has waned some bit.
