Is it me or is anime getting to common?I mean like the settings cause i found out that many anime with guns are taking place in Italy,and France.Not only those kind of anime but like the anime monster,and Maria-sama ga Miteru settings are related to those places as well.Also so many anime recently have robot things related u know?Hmmm what else is common?

I find that Tenchi-Misaki syndrome is starting to annoy me although our society do cheer whenever the male protagonist shows himself not to be wussy/wet/perverted. So far Otaru from Saber Marionette has passed the test.

Apparently Shin-chan is being released on tv in Spain. They must love ass hummor there... But I understand where you're coming from. I have always enjoyed watching stuff from fansubs and fan translations of manga, and have always enjoyed the exclusiveness of what I did. Now that manga and anime have become more mainstream, I walk into a barns&noble, I see issues of manga that I previously would of only been able to get direct from Japan. Its moved way beyond just Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Princess Mononoke. This doesnt mean that I enjoy the content any less, it just means that I loose the exclusiveness, which is kinda fun to have and be able to say, "I know what this is and you don't, so ha!" Well, I guess I can always be one of those old geezers yelling at people how it was "back in the day." And get off my lawn, damn punks!

| i find almost every fighting anime saying "your opponent is me" which is kinda unoriginal but it makes it sound cooler |

| The Love Hina theme is common in a lot of anime, it's in Mahoraba Heartful Days, it's in Ai Yori Aoshi, it's in Sister Princess, it's in Ah My Goddess (kinda). |

robots that's sometimes it doesn't fit the show...(Kannazuki no Miko) harem shows - yeah like Tenchi and etc. there's always someone who likes fighting all the time and it's the only thing he could think about...(Yusuke,Recca,Naruto,Goku) dislike his mother or father typical girl who's shy that he's prince is always there to protect her (Rena) yea, chosen ones yea, forgotten past...and mysterious past! (Noir) I like the sweatdrops, dizzy eyes, eyes twitching and vein stuff ^_^ I'll just update my post  ^_^v PEACE OUT! |

that magical hammer thingy... Wierd Expressions... Big Eyed chars... "the One"... 1 or more female chars crazy about a single guy... some mysterious past... a person with a vendetta against a former friend, foe or family member... the "princess-guardian" relationship the "Master-Slave" relationship... the "aura" or "chi"(some energy discharge)... exploding volcano expression... tidal wave expression... the "V" sign... powerful butlers... perverted main character (that still gets the girls...)... females that hates the main character at the beginning,but starts to fall in love with him as the story goes on... the "default" female character personas... bad guys turning good guys... some character who likes fighting... good guys turning evil because they want power... villains who want more power... a villain that want to create a "new world"... the list goes on....  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

super good guys bad guy protagonists super bad guys superweapons unpredictable circumstances something that appears from nowhere teleportation ATE (active time event) the "n" vein pop, sweat drop, and an angry eye agile characters (evade=999) super strong bad guys weak goodies that turn to super strong goodies i wonder what else... *blip*  *blip* |

At least one or more of the following: Giant robots Explosions Demons (or something similar) Chicks More Explosions Super Powers Excessively Large Sweat Drops Overly Exaggerated Facial Expressions Even More Explosions Random Small Seemingly Insignificant Animals (i.e. Keru-Neku Sama from Trigun, or Ein from Cowboy Bebop) Yelling/Screaming (I can't think of any anime that goes more than two episodes without somebody screaming) And Lastly, More Exlposions.  |
