Hey, I was just wondering how could I make good wallpapers, but I don't know almost nothing, so I REALLY could use a hand. I want some detailed info for making them, starting from the best programs for taking screenshots; Programs for modifying images (what programs, better versions, everything); and the final touches. If someone could help me, I'll be grateful...

Photoshop 7 or CS is the basic wallers tool. All other image editing programs pale in comparison. 3Dmax is a good companion program for generating eye catching abstract. |

if you want, you can use an extracted image or something like that in your wallpaper. Filters are good for creating special effects.  |

| gosh! i think making a wallpaper need a hardwork and full detail picture. it's so hard even i just imagining it!!! |

First of all, what's the best program for taking screenshots? The programs or players that I use take the shots, but lowering the quality a bit (A little "pixelated")... Thanks
