Anime Music Amateur Groups
|
Hi, everybody. Anyone play anime music ? I'm member of an (very) amateur group and we play anime music. It's a great experience, there are "easy" melodies like "Tomorrow" from Full Metal Panic, and "interesting" like Magic Knight Rayeath intros or Evangelion's Zankokuna Tenshi no teese. I play keyboards and recorder, and the group's name is "Gasara" (from Gasaraki). We live and play in México. A question : Which song will you "dare to" sing with a "live" band ? My song that I would sing would be "Suggestion" by the Takahashi Brothers (Seki Tomokazu and Koyasu Takehito) "Byakuya~True Light~" Miyamoto Shunichi "Gluhen" by Weiss "Velvet Underworld" by Weiss "Because" by Koyasu Takehito and Tonbrella The reason being their songs are relatively less high tone than most other JP male singers, coz i just suck at higher tone. |

By the way, is it hard to reproduce the music from the songs without the original music sheet? |

Yea, but they could just get it from internet by people who already made them. OK, nvm.. Don't call me man, dude. I'm a girl, dude. P.S. What tone..? I was just typing peacefully... n_n P.S.S. If they did make their own music sheets, then they'd be so good or they're so musically inclined 'coz that IS hard.. :D m y . L i F E . i . t r a d e . i n . f o r . y o u r . P A i N . |

Soz, didnt know your gender. I meant 'man' as in the hippy ending, not the gender. Well, the way you wrote the reply sounded.... how should one put it... i think patronising be the right word. |

Hi. Thanks for the songs recomendations, we try to hear it. Well, about the music, we try first to get some MIDI file. This files can be converted to music sheets (with programs, like Encore, Finale or Sibelius), and give us a great help. Usually the MIDI file its wrong or incomplete, then we complete the music with the instruments (our guitarist have a GREAT musical ear). When no MIDI file it's at hand we try to imitate the music, but there are songs VERY COMPLICATE ... like these with electronic effects or flamenco guitar or large piano solos or orchestral parts ... at now we try to make an arrange of the song One Winged Angel (better know as Cephirot theme) from FF VII. Some songs we play : Chikyugi (from Saint Seiya's Hades Saga), Haruka Kanata and Ima made nando mo (from Naruto), Northern Lights (from Shaman King), Zankokuna Tenshi no teese (from Evangelion), Stay Away (L'arc en Ciel), Yume miru shojo ja irarenai (Nanase Aikawa), Omoide ga ippai (from Ranma 1/2), Seventh Moon (from Macross 7), Mazinger theme, and more 8) Ricardo (from México city) |
