Id go for the download if I can get 1 with seeds and a good fansub group. When you buy it the subs either arent good because they are just green with a plain font, or they suck terribly because theyre import and the translation is unbearable, and the sound is messed up. On fansubs like Kaizoku fansubs where each character has their own unique font for there special attacks, and side translator notes, its a lot more enjoyable. And when you buy DVD they dont translet the Japanese writing you see in the background like some fansubs do.  Jomunga eats your avatars. |

I think I'd buy... With the kind of connection we have, I'll take all my time to download... so I'll buy... ^__~ It's different when it comes to soundtrack though...   |

Download it, cause im a cheap pirate bastard! ^__^ If I REALLY like it.. and have the money.. then I might buy it.. Itd be a back up incase my comp imploded... PS I totally agree with Jomunga-kun about fansubs.. they just have more... love.. put into them instead of the bold white text you get with DVDs...

Some anime arent licensed and are hard to download due to lack of seeders a.k.a. Mamotte Shugogetten my first Hong Kong purchase. And when I bought them I never expected them to suck so bad. Yes and now I dont buy from Hong Kong. But I still licensed aint good compared to some fansubs. "I'm not allowed to download so I guess I'll have to say buy. | Ya, some fansubs are better (not that I know of any since I don't download) but I feel a sense of pride when ppl comment and gush over my pretty collection of anime. I feel proud that I bought it all by myself, with a few exceptions of course [presents :)] |

I download lots, but most of the ones I download are crap. The ones I like, I go and buy. :D

I always download soundtracks, but until recently I had a dialup internet connection, so I couldn't really download much. I do think buying is better--if nobody bought, after all, the anime industry wouldn't exist. :(  |

The problem for me when buying is I cant stop. If I go to dicountanimeDVD.com in search of 1 series I end up buy over 500 dollars worth of anime, and I dont regret it at all. Screw the 500 dollars I got more anime than I can watch. Jomunga eats your avatars. |

if i had the money i'd surely buy... well maybe in the future besides, the subs are better than the ones translated, even in tv... animes in malay is the worst, really. |
