How to work, rest, play? Need ur advice guys/girls
|
Yeah just wondering guys/girls how do you manage your time to accomodate work, entertainment, and rest, and keep yourself from becoming insane or stress out? I'm a Uni student and I've been struggling to cope with the workload and it takes me approximately 2 hours maximum to get to uni. Please I need your advice guys/girls. |

2 hours to Uni?? which means you spend 4 hours on trips every weekday, you should use that time to always study, 4 hours of study everyday is enough for university, oh and listen to some mp3 while youre there, it will keep your head cooler. This way you will always have more free time when you reach home. You should play some ONLINE games, it will make you release some of your stress and/or frustration to others :evil laugh: without leaving home, but it has to be an online game because of the social contact, an online FPS is better for you I think, it depends on your taste and how much you want to spend in the game. And go out more in weekends :) |

I have to drive about 35-45 minutes to work & back every day, and I look at the drive as a time to relax (at least, when I don't have a Eurobeat album in :D ) When I get back, it's time for online stuff, following up on all the posts I might have missed, and then I can either relax with some PS2 games (Anything from Katamari Damacy to Marvel vs Capcom 2, a great way to take out stress), and/or DVDs. I find that also seeing a movie on the weekends is a great way to relax from the hectic week, and to forget about things; Also, one of the nice things when you live in the middle of nowhere as I do, is to take a portable DVD player & watch things in a lawn chair in the backyard, where's it's nice & quiet outdoors. It's very relaxed, and if I've got a full charge on it's batterypak, I'll go for a walk & find a shady spot to watch dvds, be it anime or movies; ('course, that's like, the only good times I get to watch stuff lately, as I'm usually so busy :) |

It takes me at least 30 minutes to go to school. I sleep while in the car, hehe... Rui-chan is also a university student. I'm in my thrid year so I'm busier. I also have extra-curricular activities in school so these eat up my time. Since I can "make" my own schedule, I chose morning classes so in the afternoon, I can meet up with people in my organization and be able to do what we have to do. When I get home, that's where I study. After studying, I rest. Internet surfing and listening to anime music are ways I spend my free hours. Then I sleep. Sometimes, during my free time, I study or I go to the gym. The gym is just nearby so I walk. I manage my time, really, by writing down the things I have to do on certain hours in my diary. I also have a calendar and a notebook where I write down important dates. ^_^ |

Dont start messing up your sleep by sleeping in the day (I mean long periods). I know that sounds harsh (heck, I had do) but I believe it might help you. I used to sleep a lot in the day but that only made my situation worse at college. |

here in my city, i drive for 45-50 minutes to go to college. and it takes about 1 hour to go back home. i spend about 6-8 hours a day at my campus, and i go to campus 5 day a week. plus at night, i have to study, or my brain will be empty for the next day. it is truly a stressful life. but on saturday and sunday, i spend all my time to play, computer games, or ps2, or watching anime on tv or from my collection. i use that strategy to cool my head. perhaps it will not work on you, but it works on me. as a suggestion, you should rest (sleep) at least 6 hours a day.
God's in his heaven. All's right with the world.
