it's a sort of a 'hi' or a 'nice to meet you' it goes by the beginning of a greeting sentence, usually people say : hajimemashite, watashi wa ( ur name) desu, dozo yoroshiku! or something like that _chizuru_chan_

hajimemashite, minna-san. boku no namae wa akira tenro desu, dakedo kira de itte. douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu! (please to meet you all, my name is akira tenro, but u can call me kira for short) yuki and setsu! boku no mago to otouto da!

kira...translation for the last sentence please...I only understand the word otouto...though i can pretty much guess the remainders of the sentence but...just to make sure... anyway,setsu, I think you posted this thread in a WRONG section, you should've posted it at the 'others' section...
