Them Miyazaki films

What is your favorite Miyazaki film? Mine - Mononoke Hime Spirited Away Kiki's Delivery Service Castle of Cagliostro Nausicaa Castle in the Sky I haven't seen - Howl's Moving Castle Porco Rosso My Neighbor Totoro (at least the new version, and not since I was in kindergarden) On a side note, girls, who's your favorite Miyazaki hero? Mine is still Ashitaka from Mononoke Hime. ^_^ I guess guys can say their favorite Miyazaki girl. |

I've found that I like all the movies I've seen of Miyazaki's. I've seen: Mononoke Hime Spirited Away Nausicaa Grave of the Fireflies Howl's Moving Castle I really want to watch My Neighbor Totoro. You know, I really love Ashitaka and San; they're a great couple, even though it wasn't official in the anime. :) Oh, the little girl from Grave of the Fireflies was sooo CUTE! I truly love her to death also. She makes me so sad because I have a little sister who is just like her, and I the ending of the story makes me even more sad. *rubbing eyes* I cried: why'd that have to happen to her? She so damn adorable and innocent! => but ofcourse I really understood why. (sorry for all this digressing babbling) But I definetly love all three of these characters! :D |

I can't pick one. I've seen: Princess Mononoke Spirited Away Castle in the Sky Kiki's Delivery Service Nasicaa Porco Rosso My Neighbor Totoro Miyazaki didn't do Grave of the Fireflies |

...i don't think Grave of the Fireflies was a Miyazaki film. it was produced by the same company, yeah, but don't think Miyazaki was affiliated with the film. anyway. many of the movies he did were good. my favorite would be... Mononoke-Hime Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi they're both really good. :D the others i've seen were Totoro, Kiki, Castle in the Sky (chinese dub XD ahahahaha), and Nausicaa.

I've only seen Princess Mononoke and Spirited away...I think Mononoke is better though |

Grave of the Fireflies really LOOKS like a Miyazaki film, though. I wonder if he worked on it, like as an animater or something, even if he didn't direct it. I didn't watch the credits that closely. |

Ive seen all the Miyazakis and Ghilbis even the elusive Panda Kopanda that he wrote the script for, it was good. |

I've seen: Tonari no Totoro, Nausicaa, Laputa, Mononoke Hime, Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi, Kiki no Takkyubin (I watched it long time ago and it's fading, time to re-watch it ^^), Howl's Moving Castle. My favs: Nausicaa, Laputa, Sen to Chihiro..., Mononoke Hime. Howl was okay only because Kimura Takuya did the voice for Howl(yeah, I know that's shallow), but otherwise I thought the pace was too fast and they were trying too hard to fit too many themes into one movie. I hope the successor to Miyazaki will do okay (you guys know Miyazaki's retiring, right?). |

Yeah Grave of the fireflies was directed by Isao Takahata and I don't think that Miyazaki was an animator in it because he was busy directing My Neighbor Totoro at the exact same time as Grave of the Fireflies was being animated. Meanwhile I have seen nausicaa, castle in the sky, my neighbor totoro, kiki's delivery service, porco rosso, princess mononoke, spirited away (the spiriting away of sen and chihiro), and my favorite Howl's Moving Castle! |
