Choose: Samurai or Ninja? On the one hand, you've got Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and Samurai Champloo, while on the other you've got Naruto and Flame of Recca. And I'm sure there are others. Me, I'm going with Ninja: NARUTO ALL THE WAY! |

Samurais are more associated with noble warriors, whereas ninjas are more associated with thieves and assassins. ...Ninjas, hands down. I adore their fighting style as they're frequently seen with daggers.     |

In terms of Naruto VS Ruroni Kenshin = samurai in terms of final fantasy tactics = both r good because they both have good ability (two hands + blade grasp) |

When someone talks to me about samurai, i imagine an image of a fat man wearing 10 tonnes of armor shouting, "FEEL MY BLADE". As for ninja, i imagine a stealthy and lethal doing everything in the shadows... Now that's cool... But someone i dont get this images in anime... So I'd say in real life, Ninja's Rox! But in anime, i'd have to say it's the Samurais... LET THE SAMURAIS EMPOWER YOUR SKINNY NINJA BODY!!  |

i have to go with the samurai... they fight with honor and courage... but i also have to go with the ninja... since ninjas fight using the shadows to thier advantage... both fighters have thier different advantages... a samurai is strong yet a bit slow.. a ninja is swift but lacks the extra power... in the end the true winner is JAPAN since it is the country of origin of both ninjas and samurais! |

i agree with zparticus. Samurais are honourable warriors who fight for honour and glory. About the part where they r slow and wear heavy armor, well i dont really think they need to wear armor and they can be fast too. If u have seen rurouni kenshin or samurai 7 or other anime like that u will see the characters like kenshin are lightning fast(god speed) and they dont wear armor. All they need is the samurai sword(katana). Personally i m a guy who likes sword fighting. On the other hand, ninjas have their advantages too as being stealthy and crafty. They have lots of speed too and use more types of weapons which are equally cool to swords. Animes like naruto are good examples. Overall, both are nice but i ll still go for samurais. |

| Nah, a Samurai-Ninja combo is the best - great skill wif a katana plus speed, stealth and shadow operations. Besides the last one, the description fits Hitokiri Battousai perfectly. |

Depends on the outlay of the battle if both sides are giving it their all on the feild for something personal it affects the whole match. I usually would go for the Samurai on this one but a nija trying to protect his family kicks in an rush and can be leathal. Same vera as well. Then consider the surronding a nija in a lighted white place has a much less chance then being in a dark- forest but If I had to choose I'm still going to say Samurai.
And I was lost in a blindness that was as clear as crystal. Where I found the truth ....now if I could only escape.

Ninja would win hands down, if the ninja knew he was going to fight a samurai, he would poison hte samurai the night before, thus, easy win for the ninja. /gg ninjas rox  |
