Zelda OOT 3 Heart challenge

| I just recently finished this, basically all you do is play through the game with 3 hearts never getting a single heart container/piece throughout the process of the game. Anyone else done it? |

| No, the heart container isnt on top of the blue portal you can just go into the blue teleporter without taking the heart container. |

| Plus, if you decide to stop this challenge you can run back and pick up the heart later on. |

| Without cheating of course, I'm still in the process of it. I was wondering though, does getting the half-damage defense count too? Not that I've already gotten it. I'm sure going to have fun against Iron Knuckles... What about Majora's Mask? Even though there are places you cannot enter without more life (ex. behind the waterfall in Ikana Canyon) but I think its possible. |

| Well, there are different difficulties to this challenge, but the hardest possible would be not obtaining the extra defence, not obtaining the extra magic upgrade, and not getting the biggorrons sword. When I completed mine I didnt get the biggorrons sword and the extra defence(iron knuckles were a pain in the ass since they 1hitko but theres a trick to beating them without getting hit) but then I got the extra magic bar upgrade >.>, im thinking of starting over and this time not getting the magic bar upgrade. |

whoa, Loki, no magic bar upgrade's gonna be hard... i'm the kind of person who got freaked out in the Shadow Temple {Ocarina of Time}!!! Without my magic i wouldn't survive or something!... *shudder*

Heh, im the type of person who tries to not use any magic unless really necessarily needed, I almost NEVER use any type of element of arrows unless they are needed for that dungeon because I try to conserve magic for when its needed so my magic bar is almost always full, the only time I really used alot of magic was the water temple, get small key fyores wind get small key fyores wind... till you get the first four needed. As for majora's mask i haven't atempted it yet because you practically have a time limit for every dungeon and while walking around with 3 hearts you need to be more careful about enemies/traps even a half heart hit could be fatal. I think this challenge could be easily completed in the windwaker considering how easy it is. It's just the long boat rides that annoy me >.>. |
