Kintaro O'e --"Golden Boy"

Am I the only person who has ever watched the six episode series; Golden Boy. It's about this genius 24-25 something of age, who quits law school before he graduated with honors to experience the lessons of life. I have to say he's a great role model and if you ever watched it, you'd agree. So, has anyone else seen it? |

I watched it too, and I can say that Golden Boy is the funniest anime I've ever seen. And yes, he looks like a great role model... a perverted toilet-freak, but still a great role model ^_^ He is honest, hard-worker, and always tries his best on things; he always cares about others. Too bad they only made 6 episodes for the OVA's, they should've made it a TV series too. |

i don't think golden boy is funny. it's lots of hentai stuf. kintarou is a sukebe guy..

| Now there's a modern classic, Goldenboy was a great series, I too wish they had more than the six OAV eps, although I still hope that either Viz or ADV will release the original manga over in NA, if the DVD's sold as well over all as they have in the store I work for it should be a great hit. |

(Warning Possible Spoilers!!) Excluding Ep 4's scence with the girl on the motorcycle and the scence in Ep 6 with the animation cells from the hentai and Kentaro's sketchbook there is no other nudity in the series, so its definitly Ecchi, not Hentai. |

" Ahhhhh the Beast inside you have owaken the beast inside me" what Kentaro said in eps.4 Swimming in the sea of love. my favorite eps. was eps.3 but my favorite scene was in eps.4 when he was swimming. "The Beast! The Beast!" i laughed my butt off.An then there was the "So How Do You Like Swimming?" i just cant get enough of Golden Boy. Sumthin bothering me... what is up with all the Hentai and ecchi stuff all it show is just some nuditty it is not like there doing it or sumthing man c'mon. Well i'm a very big fan of Golden Boy. Like Jester said... LIFE IS STUDY!! STUDY STUDY STUDY STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!!!!! kentaro Oe age 25 after studying at Tokyo University he dropped out of school right after the day of his graduation. An now he roams the streets and city's of Japan and maybe someday he can even save... the World... or maybe not. |

| I think some people are missing the point to why he's such a good role model. If anything, you can call him a real student. Most students today are just so by associations, namely by going to school. Most students, at least that I know, are only at it til 3pm, but Kintaro is learning 24-7. Another thing, despite his "hentai"-like forte, he's actually a moral person. He may want to do as he fantisize, but when it comes to it, he's GOLDEN.(Pardon the pun) |
