It's about about mid-heavy for me, I can't get higher than a "D" on the hard songs, but I ace all the rest. How bout you? |

I'm on Heavy/Oni. I've finally passed the Maxes on Heavy. I got a C on Max 300, so I'm still nowhere near satisifed. I probably won't be until I can AAA everything. I've been able to AA/AAA almost everything thats a 9 footer or below, but im really out of practice right now since school's started again and I had camp over the summer and what not. I think my best scores were on Frozen Ray ((I had all but 5 arrrows as perfects)) And I've AAA'd Paranoia Max ((the version in DDR Extreme US)) But generally I just like playing for fun. I like playing 8 footers and such since it doesnt totally kill me and its fun to bounce around like a psycho. ^^ I'll occasionally do a hardish song @ an arcade just to spite those obnoxious little twerps who think that "They're SOOOOOO awesome" cuz they can pass stuff on Standard. Now I dont wish to be rude. I'm not saying ALL people who play on standard are bad, or that I think that i'm better than them or that im just an obnoxious show off myself. I usually only do it when they're picking on begining players and such... When they're all like "OMG YOU SUCK YOU'RE ON LIGHT! HA HA!" I usually go up to the machine and play So Deep, Healing Vision -Angelic Mix- and Drop Out just to shut 'em up. They piss me off. Everyone's a beginner at some point in time. It takes practice to get good at the game! ^^And picking on relatively new players is just plain rude. ((wow... i strayed from the topic... oopsie... I love you?)) yeah, how long have you been playing? You sound like you're really good. I've been on DDR for about... *counts on fingers* 4 months... maybe 5 max? I don't know... I'm still new and I play only the Xbox ultramix at home and the lame arcade versions in the mall... I do standard at the mall but heavy at home just because I'm alot more used to it. And you strayed from the topic?! *GASP* Oh no! That's ok I love you too. ^^ lol. I'm just a little 13 year old kid so I'm no good compared to the pros... *sigh* |

I'm into whatever steps are the hardest. I've passed all the max songs on my redoctane pad at home, but only max 300 in arcades. I can get B's on Legend of Max and Maxx Unlimited, and not far from AAing Max 300 at home. My first time to even see a pad (and I danced on it too) was around my 16th birthday on my friend's crappy foam thingy with DDRMAX for PS2 back in October 2003. So, almost 2 years now. (0.o I never realized how long it's been...) |

I AA'ed The Legend of Max, Max 300 and Maxx unlimited at oni level on Stepmania. BUT I'm using a keyboard. And I use two hands. And the arrows scroll down instead of up. I'm such a weird person. In arcades, I can barely pass light. Heh. |

I can do SSR level (Heavy level) for some songs but not crazy ones like Afronova. My best SSR level songs were Freckles (Sobakasu), Love Love Shine, Butterfly(3rd mix), Do It all night (from DDR 3rd Mix), actually a number of songs from 3rd Mix. But I'm definitely ok on most trick level songs on DDR 3rd mix. Actually took me lots of practice to get it right, not to mention the money spent. I actually got a gold card in the arcade center in my area coz i spent over $100AU on the game. But now 3rd mix is gone so I dont play anymore. I'm more into the Initial D arcade game, but even that I kinda stop playing coz it cost so much, around $2AU per game when it's like way less than that in Hong Kong as my HK friend told me once. |

I've been playing for about a year now... Not that long compared to most, and I still have quite a ways to go 'til I can completely master everything so yeah. I'm just that crazy 14 yr old midget who pan-handles arcade tokens offa people since she's too cheap to buy 'em herself. ^^ They charge WAAAAY too much and most of the time the machines don't even work right... In arcades, I'm on heavy, the easier stuff. On Stepmania, one handed anything. |

Heavy, Double-speed always. Except for some songs. Though it has been a while since I last played....I think I might be losing my agility...lol. |

Im on the light end of Heavy songs like alot of people. Having played Stepmania, seeing the arrows is alot easier now, but getting my legs to cooperate is gonna take some work. |

I've been playing forever and I'm still on Standard. ;-; I don't actually have the game at home, so I only get to play at arcades. I'm lucky if I get to play every other month or so. Consequently, I screw up whenever I try to play on one of my friend's flimsy home pads. But I've almost mastered Rhythm and Police. I can play around a 6 on a good day. ^__^ |

I'm figuratively DDR-retarded and I have a VERY difficult time on... LIGHT. I've been trying to pick up the pace and take after my brother, who does DDR like he's Japanese. He can fly through the songs unmemorized on heavy heavy :( It makes me so jealous! He has "beat" or unlocked? all of his DDR games except the one with eye toy because he won't play it. I have to track down some new songs for him!! We bought him the super heavy duty arcade mats to play it with his PS2... sad for me, I didn't get one!! Diciples of the Greyhound |
