I've heard soo much about this anime and yet I know so little... could someone give me a brief description of the show and the characters? thnx!

Mochiron~ Here are some info: In this world, there exist people with special abilities to manipulate objects and transform those objects into other objects. These people are known as alchemist. However, this manipulation process does not come without cost, as the basic alchemy rules stated that something with equivalent cost is needed to perform the manipulation. The main character is a famous alchemist named Edward Elric, who loses his little brother Alphonse in an accident, where by the Elric brothers were trying to resurrect they beloved mother.Edward manages to contain his brother's soul in a large piece of armor suit. However, merging the soul and body of the dearly departed comes with great cost, so the two brothers must embark on a journey to find a mysterious power amplifier which can reduce the cost to manipulate objects greatly.

[nods and agrees to what the others said] And some episodes made me cry. It's not that dramatic yet it touched my heart. Characters are well develop.    |

the beginning and ending themes are beautiful the stories are well developed and well drawn.

Yea, the ending for me kinda sucked. However, I'm looking foward to the FMA movie: Conqueror of Shambala or something like that. It takes place like 1 or 2 years after the episode 51 of FMA T.V. series. I haven't watched it yet but I've seen the clips and it looked VERY interesting. O yea, FMA was like the best storyline IMO. Awsome stuff. |

| hagaren is a MUST watch to me.i don undersatnd why sb said it's not interesting..storyline, characters, songs..everything is 2 thumbs up.i can't wait for the movie!!!though the ending is sad in a way, i still think it's a great ending. |

i love it!!!!!!!!!!! cool 51 episodes!! the openings and endings are coll lalalal rewrite shite.... I watch the ending and it's kinda sad about winry and al because...(spoiler for those who didnt watch the final episode) and also i like the story of their sensei izumi-san.. >I like the concept of having the 7 cardinal sins as the antagonist of the story: *Lust(ishbal girl) *Envy(son of hoheinheim) *Sloth(mother of ed and al) *Wrath(son of izumi) *Pride(Fuhrer) *greed(soldier before??) *gluttony(???) *Dante(leader) >heheh tough enemies for the elric brtohers watch to find out who they are never mind i tell their personalities!!
