i think i've just developed a distaste for anime in english. i'm so used to the voicings and the subtitles that I just get really annoyed when it's in english, because I feel like the characters sound stupid.. *sob*
nya........... hehe.

Yeah!!!! I agree with you "like raspberry jam" cartoon network screw good anime...just like what they did in ONE PIECE they change the appearance of the characters and even the way they were dressed unlike in the original they are so cool.    sexy technique |

| I really hope that the DVD release is all in tact with the original Japanese versions like the Opening and Ending themes cause the ones on there now suck....Viz will hear from alot of fans im sure and they better have Unedited and uncut versions......... |

| I've seen 90 somthing eps in original form and I say it's its one of my fav anime's of all time and if the release sucks on dvd all my faith in anime will prob be lost..... |

I didn't think it was that bad O_o... And blame the dubbing companies, not the program that shows them.. One Piece was dubbed by 4Kids, everybody hates 4Kids. Dunno who dubbed Naruto, but it was, in all honesty, not that bad..Better than some of the other dubs out there.. And hey, at least they kept the original music in. Big plus for me. As for how they pronounce thing, as long as the meaning gets acrossed, it doesn't matter, seriously. And the theme song...Was odd, at least they edited out Winds though. God, I hated that song.

| CN totally screwed Naruto over! Naruto's voice sucked, and after the first 5 minutes I was like 'fxck this' and HAD to change the channel before i completely shot myself in the head. :O "Village hidden in the leaves" WTF. It's "Hidden leaf village" if anything... Jeez. |

I thought it was ok, since I havent seen the original JP version. lol.... I thought I heard James' voice too lol.... anyway I'm gonna watch it again tonight :P... the more you watch it the more you come to like it.. er >.< thats how it works for me lol |

ya i saw the 2 episodes too and the voices were really bad. I swear one of the characters sounded like a guy from Beyblade. And i saw a few things that were changed from the japanese version. 1)When naruto does that shemale transformation the people dont spurt blood out of their nose. 2) some music tracks are different. 3) And the intro's and outro's music are different so its gonna b boringgg. Well I rather hear the subbed versions. They should get the japanese voice actors and teach them english or something that would b great. I think that theyre going to cut scenes of bloody battles i think. IMAGINE THEYRE GOING TO DUBB THE NARUTO MOVIE AHHHHH???  |

I think it could have been worse if it feel into the hands of 4Kids. Anyway, the intro music sounded like something you'd hear when Bill and Ted air guitar in their movies.

For starters, I don't like Naruto. I think it's just more of the same crap that DBZ shot at us. Fight, something resembling a story, fight, bad time management, fight, something about a fox demon, fight, ect... Now that I got to see the English dubbing, I found it even worse. Naruto now sounds like an angry fat kid. Way to go! lol

CN did NOT do that! 4Kids did that for one of their networks, CN got the show secondhand... |

| sub > dub. After watching ~100 episodes (JP der!) I gave it a chance and some of the voices fit with some guys. But Naruto...:x |
