Most Underrated Anime

Talk about an anime serires or movie you've seen that you thought didn't get the appreciation that it deserved? Right off the bat I'd say "Now and Then, Here and There". There is virtually no fanbase for this show what so ever and it's easily one of the best T.V. shows I've ever seen. I'll admit, it's quite a bit on the disturbing side and it tends to be a little hard to watch, but no other anime I've seen has had such impactful drama or characterization as this series. I also would have to say "Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket". This in my opinion is the best of all of the Gundam saga. The runner up for me is the original 0079 series. But this is another show that I don't think gets the attention it deserves because it's so different from the rest of the Gundams. It's not action based and the main character is an 11 year old boy who's not a pilot. If you ever get the chance, I'd recomend buying both of these shows. They're worth the money, especially since both of them just recently had massive price cuts. |

To Heart big in Japan but not in America. Loved that anime. Wish I could play the game. To heart ~Remember my Memories~ still in the process of being fansubbed. Only 2 more episodes to go.  Jomunga eats your avatars. |

I wouldn't say they're underrated since they are popular in Japan, but not outside of it 1. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 2. Aura Battler Dunbine 3. Popolo Croisis 4. Marmalade Boy 5. Ashita no Joe

Hell, the whole anime licencing was handeled like $h*+. It took 14 months just to release the latest volume of the anime. VIZ is doing a crappy job with how they intend to do the manga as well.
