When is Kaoru and Kenshin going to become a couple !? They obviously like each other and it is already the 18th volume . Anyone else agree ?

You know going from the back cover of vol. 18 I expected to find out how Kenshin got his scar but they didn't say!

Everything will be reviewed when u finish reading the whole series. At the end they really did get married and have a kid.

Wow, I could spoil the whole series for you. A friend and I watched the japanese anime's and read the mangas(online). It's a really neat series that actually has a legitimate ending! My goodness I waited for an ending like that forever. Plus, watch Samurai X to find out about the scar. I think it's in there.

As dudeman says the anime explains the scar. Well the four part Samurai X Prequel OVA does. And as Bernz states they do get married and have a kid which can be seen in the OVA 2 part seuquel to the whole series called Seisouhen.

For the anime you should watch the Samurai X Prequel first, then the 95 anime episodes, then the Seisouhen ending to get the full experience..:-) Thats a LOT of watching, however the anime episodes miss out a lot of the manga towards the end of watching the episodes, missing out various arcs of the story. This is where reading the manga is really worthwhile in completing the full picture of the Rurouni Kenshin world.
