Just to give you a head start, look for the Madlax soundtrack (in particular, if you don't get and like Hitomi no Kakera, I will hate you.) d-: While you are at it, you can get more stuff by the same author, in particular, the Noir and .hack//SIGN soundtracks (imo, with the exception of a few really good stuff like Hitomi no Kakera, the Madlax soundtrack is the worst of this nice list -- and worst isn't to say bad at all.) The author's name is Yuki Kajiura if it is easier to search by that. Oh, and if you want to hear a true classic, get the Lodoss TV opening song Kiseki no Umi. You can never get truly tired of that song, but, it's not really a surprise anything written by Yoko Kanno and sung by Maaya Sakamoto is pure bliss. ^_^ Of course, do searches on Maaya Sakamoto and Yoko Kanno (Yoko Kanno isn't usually listed though as she is the composer not a singer.) Another popular singer is Megumi Hayashibara who you would probably find the most truly good stuff from the Slayers soundtracks. |

Listen to Nazo, Yuki Kajiura is my favourite composer. Other songs written by her would be Hikari, Ice Cream, Mizu no Akashi. Also look for somgs by See-saw, her band. Also I recommend Naomi Tamura, Naomi Shindou, Akino Arai.
