| I don't know too much about it, but what's your opinion of the Halo movie that I hear Peter Jackson (same guy for Lord of the Rings) is directing? Hope they make it good! |

man now that guy did Lotr real good, but I'd have to say every Video game movie I've seen so far has been HORRIBLE. so either It's gonna be real bad or mediocre. I dont really think it's gonna win any awards.

thats the only thing that scares me when games are turned into movies... i'll admit its a good idea... but seeing movies like the Resident Evil Movie (heck... why did they even bother making a sequel...) Double Dragons, Mario Brothers, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter (fine you got Raul Julia and Van Dam fighting... but it's no Street Fighter to me...) why bother...? Still... i am hoping to see a game title that hits the silver screen... with it's characters intact and storyline at bay... hopefully Peter Jackson (who by the way is no 2nd rate director... and hopefully actually agrees in making this...) will show us magic once again like he did with LOTR Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

| I know what you mean. Try and name the good video games, that actually made a good transfer to film. Through Bungie loves Halo and trying to keep it good. Plus with Peter Jackson as excutive producer that may( maynot) help out. |

As excited as we all are about it, we should all be looking forward to Halo 3 more as it is comming out by mid 2006 while the Halo movie is, at the earliest, arriving in early 2007. |

If the Halo movie does come out, I want it not to be based entirely on the game, because then everyone will know what'll happen... But still, LoTR was dang good, so, in theory, so will this. ...I hope  |

even if it does follow the game, it will still be better that most other game movies like DOOM. that because Halo has a better story line than DOOM. since its being done by the guy who did lord of the rings it should be awsome or thats what i heard.

And have this huge army of like 100 wraiths backed up by 15 scarabs, each scarab boarded with 20 hunters... THAT would awesome to see. Does anyone know where to find information on this possible movie? |

Hi! I heard the Halo script leaked out on the internet! It was really good, but it's supposed to be insanely violent and have great scope...Google it! |

!!! I came across a script at latinoreview.com, but I don't want to read it in case it spoils something, which it most likely will... Well, at least I'll get to see what a plasma grenade can do to a stuck marine. It's gonna be violent... |

If this movie really does come out, I predict that many people will be disappointed, because video games do not translate into movies that well. It will be big in the box office because of the title and the game that it is attached to, but look at all of the other game based movies that didn't do so well, like Super Mario Brothers, Final Fantasy: Spirits Within, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, and most recently, Doom.  |

Whether we want them to come out or not...these movies: Silent Hill, House of the Dead 2, Bloodrayne, Crazy Taxi, Dead or Alive, Tekken, and even Dungeon Siege are all being made...90% of them are destined to suck...The reason: Uwe Boll. This guy is the bastard who ruined both Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead, and guess what, we haven't learned our lesson, because he's directing Bloodrayne (which looks like CRAP), House of the Dead 2, and Dungeon Siege. Oh well... |

I also heard rumors (close to four months ago) that John Woo was supposedly directing, or had the rights to begin directing a Metroid movie. does anyone know if these rumors are true or not? |

| true...most games being made into movies suck because of course they cant really compare to the games themselves. Final Fantasy might be a different story thought...i liked Advent Children a lot just the shortness problem bugged me...like an hour 1/2 only or something? |
