Question about first and last names.

Im playing NBA and would like to create the players from Shohoku, Can somebody tell me what the FIRST and LAST names are, cause I dont know which is which. Hanamichi Sakuragi Kaede Rukawa Hisashi Mitsui Ryota Miyagi Takenori(First) Akagi(Last) <-- This is the only one im sure about cause Haruko is also an Akagi Kiminobu Kogure and for those who know the complete names of the other Shohoku players kindly post it here. Im also wondering how do japanese people call people names, I mean is it the first name first or the surname first? Btw this is my first post, thank you. |

Sakuragi - Family name, Hanamichi - Given name Rukawa - Family name, Kaede - Given name Mitsui - Family name, Hisahi - Given name Miyagi - Family name, Ryota - Given name Kiminobu - Family name, Kogure - Given name Eto, to Japanese, their family name comes first. So when you first meet or make friend with a Japanese, you cannot directly call them by their given names. Should get their consent before doing so. That's all ^_^ ja mata ne, mi-chan

hm... i thot kogure is kogure's family name... and kiminobu is his given name... at least that's what i encounter in fanfics... Other Characters: well, first off Ayako doesn't have a last name... Yasuharu Yasuda (6) Satoru Kakuta (9) Kentarou Ishii (12) Satoru Sasaoka (13) Toki Kuwata (15) Mitsuyoshi Anzai (coach) Legend: GivenName FamilyName if you need the name of the players from other school, i'm willing to help :D   |
