I have not heard of this yet... is this the sequel to Gundam Seed? And is it just me or does Fafner something Azure... look a lot like Gundam Seed gone Evangelion?

Pugyuru (unless you're one of these people who insist on having things like storyline in anime), and Midori no hibi was also good. |

This year Tenjou Tenge was one of the best. Other great animes that continued this year were Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha (now in ep 165!), Prince of Tennis. And of the upcoming, the best are probably Gundam Seed Destiny and Bleach (take an eye in this ;) ) |

Right now, my favourite series of 2004 has to be Maria-sama ga Miteru (plus its second season, Haru). Definitely one of those underdog series that came out with minimal fanfare and earned quite a following (and rightfully so). Elfen Lied's coming along as a worthy runner-up, as well. Incredibly horrific in terms of the violence & suspense, but it's also very well-written with some decent plot twists and likable characters. Sadly I haven't seen any Full Metal Alchemist beyond the first three episodes, so I'm not able to comment there. Been dying to see it though, based on all the hype surrounding it. As for the remainder of the year, at the moment the only thing I see coming up that really seems like it could take the top spot is Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. |

I'm in love with Wolf's Rain right now. I'm pretty sure it's a 2004 anime. Oh, and Gravitation. It just came out over the summer. WOOT! |

I don't know if this counts as 2004, but Wolf's Rain kicks butt. I can't wait to see Full Metal Alchemist, because unlike most of you peoples, I've never see the anime. I can't find JUST the first episode. It's rather sad......and when the heack did King of Bandits Jing get translated?!?
