have you noticed a sudden outbreak of anime to video games. they made a love hina game, cowboy bebop, lupin the iii, .hack//, inuyasha, gundam, dbz, thats all i can think of off the top of my head.
Now let love bleed, darker and deeper than the seas of Hell...

This has been a commen thing in Japan since the 80ties. But not all of those games, actually only a small fraction, made it to the US and Europe. I guess now that anime is becoming more popular, they are also releasing the games out here.

being a .Hack fan, I can say that the games were planned as being part of the story from the very start of the project. Hm... never heard about a Love Hina game, that'd be strange actually. |
Re: anime to video games

I read in Newtype USA that the .hack// games actually tie in with the anime series and are supposed to help explain the story and timeline of "The World". |

Now they have Flame of Recca:final Burning.it carries of where the first season end.......why can't they put it on Tv instead of making it into a game?!!?! |

"Hm... never heard about a Love Hina game, that'd be strange actually." There's a GBA Love Hina game... "Love Hina Advance".. basically a dating sim of sorts. |

There were also two for the Game Boy Colour - Love Hina Pocket and Love Hina Party. I have no idea what Pocket is about because I never got past the first twenty minutes of useless dialouge. As for Party, it's basically a decision-making thing that revolves around time... or something.

i've seen many anime video games come out but i was kinda dissapointed eith gungrave most of all. yeah, sure the style was nice but it was so choppy it kinda killed the fun of it all. i just hope Trigun dosn't have the same problem.
What! You want something for your troubles?
