you know, in the game, she will die no matter how hard you try to save her, the best ending is you sacrificing yourself and ending the curse forever. But a series by the same company (key) also got me crying, it was released a lot earlier, if anyone can guess it i'll give them a pat on the back. Clue: It's called Kanon I'll eat you. |

I actually didn't like AIR TV... I found it boring. I only watched one season, but either I wasn't paying attention or what, but I found some parts made no sense. Where the did the crow come from? If it was there all along, how come I didn't see in previous eps? To me, the whole show was about nothing. Until I find the plot picks up in the last one or two eps.

true, certain parts dudn't make sense. like (insert anything here). but i still lked it, for various reasons and i can overlook parts that don't make sense and think them out. there are only 13 eps. minus the 2 summer specials and movie.

Yea I watched AirTV and Air the movie. It was...okay, i guess. I wouldn't say it was any favorite anime of mine to watch but...heck i'd still watch it, it sorta has this 'thing' about it that draws people in. -Well me at least, i don't know about the rest. Some parts of the series I have to agree made absolutely no sense at all, and some episodes were just so full of $#@! -and to put in short boring. *And the part about the crow...yea...that still scews me over. Anyone care to explain the whole purpose of 'it' being there? I know it's suppose to be ____ but then again it isn't, or is it? Damn i'm confusing myself about that again! Bottom line the thing I really did enjoy about the whole series/movie was the ending. The whole cycle of life thing. That part was so unexpected -threw me off 'my zone'(hahaha, i had to type that down...*cough*...) Moving on... Like i said earlier the ending (and no i wont spoil the ending for those who haven't watched it) -it was brilliant, in my opinion anyways and i admitt, the opening song from air...i liked it...a lot! --->NOTE TO SELF: NEED TO CUT BACK ON MY SUGAR INTAKE <--- |

Fine, looks like it's time for me to start typing, WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW, DON'T LOOK IF YOU DON'T LIKE SPOILERS. Air, Misuzu Storyline, "Good" Ending: Yukito, the main character is a direct decent of the family which served the Winged Godess during the Feudal War Times, the family line has been passed, and they have told each future generation to try and find "The Winged Girl in the Sky". Misuzu is the reincarnation of the Winged Godess's Decendent. The family line of the Winged Godess was cursed to doom anyone whom they touch, and will continue to reincarnate and spread misfortune. Yukito does not understand his mission, and does not understand why he has to find the "Winged Girl", but he continues his search. [Skip all of the little details which make this game so good]. In the end, Yukito realizes that his goal in life was the salvation of the "Winged Girl", namely Misuzu, he sacrifices himself, and lifts the curse put on the "Winged Tribe" and dies, but his devotion and commitment to protect Misuzu allows himself to be reincarnated as a crow, until Misuzu also passes away from this living world. Misuzu, even with her curse lifted, grows weaker from her mysterious illnesses. She starts to lose the ability to perform everyday tasks, until in the end, she loses her memory. Misuzu's step mother Haruko, starts to care for her health intensively, trying to nurse her only daughter back into her original conditions. Her efforts fail. and in the end, Misuzu does regain her memories. She steps out of her wheel chair and does one of the most famous and most heart wrenching scenes in the history of Video Gaming and Animation. "... ... ... Goal". She dies in her mother's arms. Yukito, realizing that she has passed away, flys away to join her spirit in the sky. In the end, there is a little boy and a little girl playing on the beach, many theories arises about these two mysterious figures. The most commonly seen explanation, from the theory that time travels in stages instead of a continued line, is that they are the reincarnation of Yukito and Misuzu, and that they have found each other. Another very popular explanation is that they are the Main characters from the popular game by the same company "ONE". Some less commonly seen theories are that they are the characters of "Air 2" or a new game. End Of Spoilers You jerks, I cried when i typed Goal. I'll eat you. |

one thing is for sure. AIR is one of the best drama in 2005. |
Re: Air. something to talk about

PS: The opening is on this site, I think. Tori no Uta. (^_^)V Air is by far one of my favorite animes ever. The art was gorgeous and the story was smooth and emotional. Kanon was the previous release to Air yet it seemed rather thrown together. Air took everything from Kanon, cleaned it up, and made it better. It's not a series for those have some sort of attention disorder* but if you like an anime with a great plot and excellent execution, then check out Air. * - A.D.D.: Isn't that what people used to call 'stupid'? lol

Kanon's story seems rushed because there's 5 girls, and Air has just 3. And kanon still ruled. I'll eat you. |
