From What I've heard it's quite alot and it's not cheap to study in Japan. I'm from Japan but I'm studying in Singapore, did study in japan but I was young and I did not know how much is it. If you are staying in a Hostle, it would be much cheaper. And it could get more than 30 000 Yen to get most of the stuffs there.

well im going to study in japan for 4 yrs starting next year. Im going to go into Tokyo University and i actually got in!! it was a little harder than the SAT's but i did pretty good. Im dorming with some people that also go to Tokyo U so itll be kinda cheap to live in the house but food wise im in trouble... I eat a lot like maybe 5 or 6 of their rice bowls so im might have some finance troubles later on.. No wonder in Dragonball Z Goku ate like 8 bowls of rice. |

Japan is a good start with regards to techie stuff, so if want to study there, go for it!!! ^_^ (just --as always-- don't go ballistic when it gets so difficult, though). Tokyo U is a pretty good start. P.S. I actually posted another reply with regards to this on another thread (not mine, though). Try looking for it.

well, i would say that many universities in japan offer good IT courses, but there're some problems: not all of them accept foreign students into that particular course. some do accept foreign scholars (like those under monbukagakusho scholarships), but not ordinary foreign students. & some only offer the courses in master's degree/phd, but not bachelor's degree.

Studying IT in Japan is great, since they are the pioneers in the technological market, but it's going to cost you a lot.

I'm continuing learning Japanese and this year in October after Budapest holiday with my mum and a couple of her colleagues, I'm studying learning the language in Fukuoka. I have been told about applying the Visa from my sister. But she said if I study in October, my dad and I don't have to do a lot of paperwork. I enjoyed learning it since studying there, but I'm taking the Japanese language course for around 6 months. |

i've just finished up in a trade program at home but i'm looking into college right now and one of my cousins was a foreign exchange student and she went to japan. she said that it was great and that more poeple speak english then she thought. i'm looking into studying there or either get a job over there but i don't know how to go about it. right now i'm just looking up sites and asking my cousin questions and lookig at what most would expect from you job wise and the costs of living in japan as well. i wonder how much is one dollar worth over there. after my course is over,i want to see about a regular trip over there just to see how japan really is,then see how to go about doing things correctly. if anyone has any info it'd be appreciated greatly. |
